Thrissur's very own SAPPHIRE HOTEL is an Emotion for almost all Thrissurians & also for other people,who travel through Thrissur!!I have been a huge fan of their's since my childhood days & their chicken Biriyani & Porotta with chicken fry are their masterpieces & still remain the same..& their another highlight is their reasonable pricing,which no other restaurants can match with..Thanks a lot for still remaining the same,Sapphire!!Recently for a review,ordered their specialities like 1.Special Chicken Biriyani(Half),2.Prawns Biriyani(Full),3.Special Chicken Fry, 4.Special Chicken Chilly Fry,5.Kerala Porotta & 6.Pathiri....all were yummylicious!! Apart from this,there another highlight is their reasonably priced Desserts from their Cool Hut...ordered a Chocolate Fantasy!!..so simple,attractive & tasty!!Lovee every thing ,would recommend all to definitely try their food.. https://youtu.be/4nvdHNpJlq8

Sapphire biriyani- athe oru vigaaram aane nammal Thrissurkaarke. I've had biriyani from almost all the restaurants I go to but nothing matches Sapphire biriyani. Maybe because sapphire has been a part of me from my childhood and even now I haven't found another place in Thrissur nor anywhere else to match the taste I get from here (except from Rahmeth hotel calicut). Thrissur il adhyam aayitano ... then definitely go have a biriyani from Sapphire. Highly recommended.

Briyani is not that great what I used to have before. But still, they are able to maintain the consistency which OTHER RESTAURANTS in Thrissur fail to. Still, I love this place because they serve MUTTON LIVER & APPAM as breakfast. I do recommend this place for CLEAN AND GOOD FOOD. Must-Try Food - POROTTA - FISH CURRY BRIYANI - If lucky you get the best. Try to visit the shop morning at 11, the first batch of biryanis are really good.    MUTTON LIVER AND APPAM - HIGHLY RECOMMEND Service is good...

Sapphire serves the best biriyani in Thrissur. Very well known restaurant. We used to visit here on the weekends after college. Biriyani is amazing.

Doesn't have that old flare in the biriyani. The chicken was fried too much that it became too hard to chew....also I always found their raita too salty.

They were the pioneers of biriyani in Kerala once upon a time. Now the quality has dropped like a stone over the time . After Thrissur people started going out and once people from other parts started coming to Thrissur, thrissurkkar started getting original taste of biriyani. Now this place is a pathetic shadow of the old sapphire. If they are not willing to change, they will just remain a transit eatary of the people passing by Thrissur railway station and bus station. The proximity to railway station and bus station make sure that this shop stays afloat.

Despite the promising reviews, my experience with the biryani here left much to be desired. The taste fell short of expectations, lacking the richness and depth one expects from a flavorful biryani. The rice was dry and lacked the fragrant aroma that defines a good biryani. While the presentation was decent, the flavor just didn't hit the mark. Hopefully, there's room for improvement in the future.

Food was so disappointing. We ordered mutton biryani, mutton chaap and porotta. Porotta was Ok, biriyani was just so so, and the mutton in both the biryani and curry was chewy. Didn't enjoy at all.

We got broiler chicken feathers in chicken biriyani from hotel sapphire , now they are not giving a clean food ! Please check the photos for further information !

Before corona sapphire biriyani was the first option in thrissur,but after lockdown , it is the most worst biriyani in kerala at highest price.
