Authentic chettinad restaurant. We went there on Diwali night 2019. It was crowded. We tried kannappa special chicken masala and it was good. Chapathis, idiyappams were all good too.

This hotel is know its chettinad style cooking. Best family restaurant. Good for evening brunches. Hygienic place.

Even if you drive by this restaurant and you ll feel the amazing fragrance of their biriyanis... Kannapa is known for its mutton biriyani made with seeraga samba rice served with the brinjal curry and raitha. Absolutely fantastic non-vegetarian sides too, with average ambience and good service.

Kanappa is really a good hotel for Non Veg Lovers. Good service and nice Ambience. Price is Reasonable. Had Chicken Lollipop, Mutton Gravy, Prawn Thokku, Fish Fry, Idiyappam Paya. All were really good.

A very good hotel and the food tastes good too, But dishes here are over priced. You literally pay 400 bucks for a very small cup of mutton which is never really worthy, There are so many better options in the city.

Food is exceptionally good, service is poor, better to get take away or zomato ordering to enjoy the food to the fullest.

Very bad experience at Hotel Kannappa, Trichy. Food taste was below average and highly overpriced. Mutton biryani had only 2 very small pieces, quantity was very less. Same issue with chicken biryani also. Extra rice ku ₹80 charge panninaanga, adhuvum just one small cup only — shocking. Kadai masala tasted old and stale, no taste at all, but price was ₹300. Overall, not worth the money and very disappointing, especially since I visited on my birthday. Don’t go here. Not recommended.

Unfortunately never had a chance to eat here. The waiters, the parking assist guy, or the manager, none of them were courteous, blinded by their popularity I was appalled at their don't care attitude. I am never gonna suggest this place to anyone.

i ordered briyani and parotta .today ( 16.4.24) .. but dhalcha and kurma for parotta is missing. very worst..
