Hello foodies. No need to read reviews. Go and experience the legendary paragon. We recently were at Thiruvananthapuram and tried this restaurant. There was waiting on Friday afternoon but as we are just 2 members and a kid we got a table within 10 min. Started with paragon sharbat (8/10) and tawa roast prawns(9/10) in starters, followed by their signature mango fish curry (10/10) with ghee rice(8/10) and parotha(7/10), ended meal on a sweet note with delicious elaneer payasam(9/10). Each and every dish was yumm and tasty...soft tender pieces of prawns and fish..yet juicy and delicious. Fast service and friendly and courteous staff . Thanks to vishnu for making our food experience even great with his hospitality. A must visit to this restaurant, they have multiple branches in India and abroad and they are the 5th most iconic restaurants in the world, but If you are in kerala specially kochi and Thiruvananthapuram do not miss them for the love of sea food. Parking is limited and gets crowded on weekends so plan it accordingly, best is you reach the restaurant in between 12/12:30 to get fast service during lunch hours. Had gone to Paragon for dinner when visiting Trivandrum. It’s a big restaurant with ground and first floor seating. In the beginning, when we asked which is the better dish between the two options we had chosen, the server said the other dish was not available. Same thing happened with another dish we asked for. In the end we understood that only 1 type of chicken dish was available, so good or bad we had to order that. That was Achayan’s chicken curry. And oh boy! The disappointment of not having a choice turned to joy. It was so amazing and we ended up ordering another serving. Along with that we had ordered Fish Moiley, which was ok. This is a mutli cuisine restaurant, so plenty to choose from if you are not wanting to eat Kerala food.

I dined at Paragon Restaurant with my family in Trivandrum yesterday, where the ambiance was marked by warm, intimate lighting and ergonomically comfortable seating. The menu appeared thoughtfully curated with fresh and novel offerings, and the service staff displayed commendable attentiveness. However, an astonishing shortcoming marred the evening: the restaurant, celebrated almost synonymously with its signature biryani, had entirely run out of it. On a bustling weekday, this lapse was nothing short of bewildering—how could a brand, whose very culinary identity rests upon this dish, fail to uphold its cornerstone? In lieu of biryani, we reluctantly opted for the Lamb Chaap Curry and the Paneer Mushroom Dolma, accompanied by parotta and garlic naan. Regrettably, the experience deteriorated further. The Lamb Chaap Curry contained scarcely any palatable meat, dominated instead by sinewy, bony fragments with an unappetizingly rubbery texture. The Dolma, too, fell egregiously short of expectations, offering a flavor profile both uninspired and insipid. Overall, the evening was profoundly disappointing, leaving one to question whether Paragon’s vaunted reputation rests more on nostalgia than on present merit.

I visited the restaurant around 12.30 pm today and I was very much let down by the quality of food. Paragon in my mind always had been top notch but today the kantari fish and mutton biriyani was not good in the restaurant . I felt that biriyani was not fresh and the spicy aroma which you get from a paragon biriyani was not there. The kantari fish (basa) was red in colour instead of usual green colour and the flavours was not present in it. The time I visit generally is around 2 pm but today I thought I will have early lunch . This is just my opinion in the matter. I am vivid paragon lover/fan, I have visited your dubai , calicut , Cochin and almost all outlets

Ordered a seer fish fry. Got a half eaten leftover fish piece and the fish was not fresh and smelling funny. Paid 270 INR for a half eaten rotten piece of fish.
