Set in a quite neighborhood, you have a very welcoming host family as if they invited you over for dinner. It had been a long time since we had stepped out for a meal and this was heart warming. Restaurant is a well kept place with both indoor and outdoor dining. Friendly staff and quick service too. We were the only guests when we arrived so can't be sure of the quick service but this is my experience. We ordered a cup of coffee and hot chocolate to start with. Very much to my liking, a strong coffee was served. I wish they had a menu with items like sandwiches or burgers or similar though. Later we ordered a mix chowmein. I know, coffee and chowmein!! The chowmein was a well prepared mains with sizeable portions of chicken and prawns and veggies. The sauces that came along were also nice and we'll complementing the flavour of the noodles. The chowmein was enough for thr 2 of us. Cost of all 3 items came to 390 bucks. Overall, I would give this place a 5 on 5. I hope they stay in business during these unprecedented times as it's a really tough time for restaurants in general.

The soup and prawn tempura were too good. Food in general was of good quality and a decent portion size too at a very reasonable price too. Must check out the place. The ambience is very familiar and comfortable for some reason. Service is a little slow, but nothing unbearable as long as you don't go there already starving hungry.

STARTERS: 1)Chicken momos: They were fresh and lovely tbh. But I am used to eating cheap momos XD...so 210 for 6 momos was a bit pricey for me 2)Chicken spring roll These were like 2 large spring rolls. Not bad... 3)Chicken tikka starter This does not taste like typical chicken tikka however it has a nice mild homely taste. The mint chutney is also delicious MAIN COURSE 1)Chicken fried rice This was fine 2)Mixed fried rice This has bits of beef and prawns along with chicken and egg 3)Prawns chilli garlic This was ok 4)Schezwan chicken Does not taste like schezwan chicken. Could be avoided 5)Chicken filet It is like a chunk of deep fried breaded chicken served with fries and coleslaw. It tastes good ,yes but it was quite oily which was the negative point DRINKS 1)lime soda good enough 2)Passion fruit juice THIS IS THE STAR of the menu. I never order drinks in a restaurant but this was so delicious I ordered an entire one for myself. It was so delicious 🥺 10/5 stars Also the owner and host is a really lovely person and makes you feel at home All in all it is a good place. I wouldn't say WOW or anything bad either. But it is good enough to enjoy your meal

I am not a person who writes a lot of reviews but I felt like I should really write something about my experience today at PLAV. I am not always with my family as I am based abroad and get very limited time with them. I decided an outing with my fam today to PLAV for a peaceful supper but what I experienced was something really unexpected. We reach there at 7.45 pm and we ordered two soups and two starters (1 portion of chicken spring roll and 1 fried chicken mommos). Our food got delayed to quite a large extent. We didn’t even order our mains and was waiting for the starters to be served. We were served our first soup at 8.50 pm. After one hour of ordering. Then our second soup at 9.00 pm. And one starters short after. Nothing was served together. I requested the helpers/waiters to please come and take the main order as I saw there was so much delay. But then after telling them several times no one attended us. And I went to the counter again to request them to send someone to take the order with zero help. They started ignoring us as we never existed . We called the owner and even he didn’t have anything to say and couldn’t even apologize for the inconvenience caused. We decided to ask for the bill and leave. 20 minutes later the bill arrives with even the starter they haven’t really served us. I wasn’t planning to write this review but how they treated us made me force to write this as this spoiled our family outing. Will definitely won’t visit them again but this again might just be my own problem. Customer always comes first. An apology could have avoided this review.
