This is a good job non vegetarian, reasonably priced option in Trivandrum. We particularly liked mackerel fry, Butter fish fry, poratta, beef fry and Kerala fish curry. The meals and Biryani were just satisfactory. It came to just about RS.1500 for lunch for 8 of us.

Disappointing. Tired this place as it was recommended as a good sea food joint. Walked into the AC section to find out it was stuffy and suffocating. Informed the staffs who said it’s because the room was fully occupied and hence it will not cool anymore. Started ordering with the soups, and was told they won’t serve 1/2s, but will give us extra bowls if we want. Crab soup was bad with full of crab shells inside. On to the main course, fish curry meals was pretty decent. Prawns and Fish Biryani were both complete letdowns. It was more like white plain rice over fish and prawns semi gravy curries. Not recommended.

Its situated close to the RBI, Bakery Junction Trivandrum.  On the road connecting Bakery Junction and Nandavanam. The seating capacity is good - have separate AC and Non AC area. The waiters have lot of attitude. Bad Service. Now coming to food. I had ordered a Fish Curry Meals, basically a fish curry accompanied with Veg Meals. The Veg Meals accompanied with A fish curry, The veg meal priced at 60 & the FIsh curry in a Small bowl priced around 80. The fish wasn't fresh. Avoid this restaurant. There are better options in the city.

Service:The service needs improvement as i had a bad experience once during lunch at their hotel. They once got another guest to sit on my table hurrying me to clear the table as i was just finishing lunch and a full tumbler of lime juice in front of me. That was rude.  Food: As far as food is concerned, Its good and for traditional Kerala cuisine lovers. Sea food is their speciality. Ambiance:  Bit too colorful for my taste. (Ac Section).

Good service but food lacks in taste. We ordered fish Briyani, fish fry, fish curry and meals. Meals was OK but the fry and biriyani lacks taste.

It is very unfortunate for me as I had ordered chicken curry and porotta from the hotel inspite of the repeated warnings from my friends that the hotel now serves food of inferior quality. It was out of sheer hunger that I ordered from the hotel without having a look at it's reviews. I know realise the gravity of my mistake and this is what prompted me to write a review. Firstly I doubt if the chicken in the curry was properly cooked. Secondly even a mediocre cook will not add pepper to a curry in a manner this restaurant did. The taste was unbearable and due to an outburst of anger I threw the entire curry in the waste bin. Hence I was unable to take a picture. Thirdly I have no idea about how and in what manner did the prepared the dish. Some kind of pungent smell was in the curry. Therefore I have reasonable conclusion that the hotel stands for nothing less than profit making at the cost of the quality of the food and the expectations of the customers. Hence o request others to not to buy food from this hotel lest you wish to lose money and be disappointed. This hotel needs to be shut down and the owner must find some another job if he can't run the hotel properly.

TASTE IS A BIG FACTOR U NEED TO LOOK INTO- I ordered veg meals through uber eats.. There's nothing tasty in the vegetarian meals that I ordered. I don't know who is preparing your dishes, but I can guarantee that I know to prepare food in a better manner than the people in this restaurant. About the presentation- why do u deliver rice in aluminium foil paper without any plastic or plantain leaf on it? This itself shows your lack of interest in the health of the person consuming it. There are very less number of dishes for the amount that is given, I wonder what kind of business this is- There's one dal, sambar, rasam, pickle, and two some unidentified curries which never had any taste. It's a total fail...

Experience was bad... We waited for table first but didn't get AC room... we sat in non AC after 15 mns...another 10 mns no one turned to take order... Gave order later but they were too slow ...waited for kids order but after 15 mns of our food serving also kids didn't get there order on inquiring they said fried rice and Manchurian not available which they only informed after ordering.... Pathetic customer service and very unhygienic place......dueing billing they billed for food which were not ordered.... Will never advice people who have good and ambience food sense to go there...

Disappointing experience. Visited on our drivers recommendation. Firstly the attitude of the waiters. Seems they r doing us a big favour by allowing us to visit the restaurant. We ordered prawn soup - not at all good. Tasteless and with prawns which was not fresh. Chicken biryani was strictly ok. We found a small piece of stone in the rice as well. Strictly avoidable.
