The place offers a stunning view of Lake Pichola and the City Palace, Udaipur. Live instrumental music was playing, which added a perfect, soothing vibe to the entire experience. We had pre-booked the restaurant a week in advance, and I would strongly recommend not visiting without prior reservations, especially during the tourist season. We tried the curry pumpkin soup (5/5) — beautifully balanced with a subtle, satvik touch; Ambrai paneer ka sula (4/5); verdure pizza (5/5); Mewari lapatama gobhi (5/5); Mewari khichdi (5/5); Kabuli biryani (3/5); ras malai (5/5); gajar halwa (5/5); and the highly recommended Mewari makki ka halwa (5/5). Although the staff seemed a bit inattentive at times, the ambience and overall vibe were absolutely worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner.

The ambience is top-notch 10/10. The restaurant is full packed always so do make reservations beforehand. They do have a cover charge also so talk to them accordingly while booking. We ordered - Manchow Soup - 9/10 Veg Kebab Platter - 10/10 (paneer tikka and dahi kebab are the best) Dal Ambrai (Makhani) - 7/10 (not the typical dal makhani, but not disappointing) Veg Biryani - 8/10 Worth the visit.

I came for the high tea. Spring roll quantity was very less and club sandwich was cold and more of coleslaw sandwich. Bottom line, food below par, location above par.

Below average food. Corn seekh kebab starter was stale. Had to return it. Paneer Tikka starter did not have that grill flavour. Very bland. Main course was also below avg. If the ambience hadn’t been so great, I’d rate it 0 stars. Also, a lot of preference was given to foreign tourists over us Indians. Felt really miserable here. Also, very slow service. It was my birthday night. Would not come here again.

Highly unprofessional, we waited for 30 minutes to get our order placed but nobody attended us. Not like the place was busy and short staffed but they were all busy on focusing only on one group of foreigners. The manager nor the staff cared when we walked off without eating. Would not recommend anyone

The booking staff is very unjust. While we were told that bookings were full, the staff allotted 8 people a table who came after us and did not even try to check if any table can be made available.
