Nice cosy place with a perfect view. The staff was courteous and quick to serve. Although they should have more options of food in menu !! Rest a good place to visit

The servers are great, but the manager is grumpy and less hospitable. You never feel welcomed, no matter how many time I come here.. they focus more on the guest staying with them and treat the walk ins as third grade citizens

The only redeeming feature of this place was the view. The food menu is very limited and the food itself is absolutely average. You'd be better off at some other local cafe in Udaipur

Very rare case of where Hotel and its service is above par but its restaurant and service there in is abysmal! Its like the management teams are completely poles apart for the hotel and for the restaurant. I have no complaints regarding the food taste, portion size, even pricing considering its a restaurant if a highly ranked hotel of Udaipur, but the service alone takes down your whole experience of dining here! Its a Saturday night and first thing you notice is lack of service staff on ground. This obviously results in patrons waiting for long for the service. Even that is expected, but waiting to get a menu card, waiting for someone to take my orders, waiting for water, such basics are unpardonable. You are charging heftily being a restaurant in a good hotel, having a nice view,and you have no qualms about mentioning on the menu card that you charge Service charge....for what? Service was almost non existent! I had to myself go and talk to the floor manager twice who himself was clueless about the happenings of the floor. The taste of food was nice but the service or the complete lack of it spoils the overall experience. Totally not recommended, even for a guest staying at the hotel!

Very limited menu options. We faced an issue with the billing where they charged us for a different brand of mineral water bottle than the one we selected. The bottle provided was from a more expensive brand, which wasn’t even listed on the menu. Despite it being their mistake, they kept arguing instead of resolving the issue politely. Disappointed with the service and lack of accountability.

One of the worst places in Udaipur to dine in. Yes, these are the words from someone local. The food, ambience and the service, nothing is worth visiting. Further, the prices are so exorbitant that you will regret going there. There are places far better than Lakend in terms of food and location.
