When in Udaipur, you cannot miss the jewel of Lake Pichola - Taj Lake Palace. It is one of the best luxury hotels in the world and the Taj Lake Palace is every bit marvelous and magnificent. During my recent stay at this luxury Taj Property in Udaipur, I headed to Jharokha - the all day fine dining restaurant of the Palace. Jharokha presents a stunning 360 degree view of the Lake Pichola. The spectacular City Palace view is a visual treat to the eyes and so is the Jag Mandir. The restaurant is a cool place (as the Palace is fully built of Marble) and the cool waters of Pichola sets the tone right for an extraordinary experience unlike the rest of 5 Star restaurants. The breakfast spread was varied. The cold buffet had ample options to choose from - fresh cut fruits, juices, nuts, croissants, brownies, Cheese etc... The hot order items were quickly served on the table. I enjoyed their Kheema Pav which was yummy. The Eggs Benedict with warm hollandaise was scrumptious. On my request, the staff was really polite in preparing the Chicken Cheese Toast Sandwiches which I thoroughly enjoyed with the Chocolate Milkshake. The staff was cordial and well aware of the table's. The coordination and sync among them was on point. It was great meeting the Restaurant manager Mr. Raag and the rest of the staff especially Mr. Kalu. Overall, Jharokha is an amazing place to dine when in Udaipur. Trust me, good food and the stunning views of Lake Pichola will surely make your day memorable.

The first detail I would like to mention is that only guests staying at the Taj Lake Palace can dine at this beautiful and aesthetic fine dine restaurant. Located just by the side of water, dining here is an experience in itself. The views of Lake Pichola and City Palace and the ambience of this place make you feel like a Royal dining. I had buffet breakfast here, it was a lavish wide spread menu. I was surprised to find Camel milk here, must try. All the regular breakfast food items were present which were good in taste. Needs improvement in taste of parantha and aaloo bhonda. The juices, shakes and coffee are really good. I would like to specially mention that omelettes and keema pav were the best parts of this buffet. Really well made. The bakery section was awesome. Lot’s of cakes and pastries, each one baked to perfection. The staff is very well trained and courteous.

We stayed at the Taj lake palace for three nights and had most of our meals here. The breakfast buffet was good, although not as extensive as some of the other hotels that we have stayed. The Indian selection was excellent though. The ala carte menu is great. We tried almost all the Taj signature dishes. All were great, in taste, presentation and portion size. The sheesh touk and the fish Exotica deserve special mention. The ambiance, as described in almost every other review is breathtaking, especially if you get those lake facing tables. Last but not the least, is the Taj service that makes this restaurant truly amazing. I an bad at remembering names but Pramod was there on all days to check if we were enjoying all the dishes and if we required any customization.

Excellent ambience - great views of the city palace and other properties of the old city with the lake; Fantastic food - Chakki ki sabzi, bhatti ki daal were fantastic. Malai ghewar and jalebis are not to be missed. Guava martini & ginger martinis were fabulous. Service was fantastic- Abhishek served us really well and guided us throughout with the food choices. Overall an experience to remember!

A restaurant with the MOST Beautiful view of the Lake ! This place surely beats every other restaurant in Udaipur when it comes to it's location.  Their decor, cutlery, crockery, designing around etc is just PERFECT!  Food - as one can expect is at par with all the other Taj properties :)  A must visit if in Udaipur!

What a mesmerizing, serene place this is and what the hospitality.....they will make you feel so special.  This restaurant is located in Lake Palace hotel and is open even for the outsiders who are not staying in the hotel. Your trip to Udaipur is incomplete if you have not visited this hotel.

Tried the Fettuccine Genovese with plum tomato & pine nuts and Tiramisu at Jharokha (Taj Lake Palace) and absolutely loved it 😍. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced - simple yet elegant. Add to that the stunning lake & palace views ✨🌊 and the amazing service that truly makes you feel pampered - overall, a memorable dining experience 🍝❤️.

You cant visit this place unless you’re staying here So call them once before you plan. And I faced the issue of them not even answering the calls. 😕

Taj Lake palace is superhyped. they don't allow walkin and for reservation it is 10.5k per person plus taxes. that too the payment needs to be paid in advance! which is useless....i believe it is a waste of money!!

When they don’t take reservations for outside people than what is the sense of taking booking?
