A meal straight from the heart! I’m a traveller from Pune and visited Natraj Dining Hall during the Diwali season. The place was jam-packed, yet the warmth and service made it feel so homely. The servers were outstanding— smiling, patient, and so quick on their feet even in that festive rush. You could see the pride they take in serving every guest with love. And Dadaji, the owner, is such a kind and cheerful soul — going around personally to ask everyone how the food was, with that ever-smiling face. The chaas was so fresh, the puri hot and fluffy, the lehsun chutney full of flavour, and the moong dal halwa was the perfect sweet ending. It’s rare to find food, service, and warmth all in one place — Natraj truly makes you feel like family. ❤️

BEST THALI IN UDAIPUR ! I wish I could give this place more stars because the food deserves so much more ! When it comes to authentic Rajasthani cuisine, nothing captures the essence of this vibrant region quite like a traditional thali and this is the BEST ! From the moment you entered, it was clear that this was a feast worthy of celebration. The presentation was both elegant and abundant, featuring an array of meticulously prepared dishes. MUST MUST MUST HAVE !!!!

Went here on a Sunday evening and below is the review: 1. Food- Like a regular multi cuisine restaurant(for Bombay folks- watered down version of Shiv Sagar). The food was sub standard and the soup was ordinary and watery. We’d ordered a paneer Chili and manchow soup. This restaurant is more famous for its thali than A la carte menu. 2. Ambience- Decent, basic, serves the purpose. 3. Convenience- Very near to railway station and hence a good stop before boarding the train

Tried the non thali food. The food was decent, nothing special. It was however very expensive for the quantity and taste.

Lunch | ₹1,200-1,400 We had heard a lot about this restaurant, so the five of us went there specifically to try their dal baati. Two of us ordered the dal baati, and we were told that it's unlimited for one person. While my friend was eating, a waiter came and stood right above us, watching closely as if someone else was eating from her plate. It made us feel very uncomfortable. My friend just asked another to taste a spoon of dal, since our mix veg and tandoori roti hadn't arrived yet. The waiter strictly said that only one person can eat from the plate, and we tried to explain it was just a taste. Then, my friend said she didn't like the churma, so she asked others to have it. When another friend started eating it, the waiter interrupted and said, "Why are you eating from her plate? You're not allowed." We explained that she didn't like it and offered it to us, but the waiter gave us a strange look and left. Later, when my friend asked for one more baati, the waiter angrily said, "You're feeding others, that's not allowed." We told him that only the churma was shared, but he wasn't ready to understand. Then finally, our sabzi and naan arrived, and honestly, the taste was very bad. The mix veg only had gravy and no vegetables at all. We also ordered veg biryani, but it looked and tasted more like khichdi. The waiter's behavior, standing over our heads while eating, and the poor service even water was given only after asking multiple times made the entire experience really unpleasant. I personally did not like this restaurant at all.

On 1st June, my family and I visited and had thali. As usual, the food looked fine — my mother and I ate rice, but my father and wife skipped it. A few hours later, my mother and I experienced symptoms of food poisoning. I’ve had thali here many times before and never faced any issues, but this time was different. It seems something was wrong with the rice served on that day. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and ensures proper food safety going forward.

most mid dal bati. the dal was very disappointing and had no flavour, the chutney seemed like poured from some packet. the staff's behavior wasn't nice either. overall, do not recommend.

Pathetic food in the restaurant, very high prices. Not worth a bit for the price that they are charging. Definitely not recommended.
