Breakfast buffet here was the best meal I had there. The spread of dishes is amazing. However, all my Jain friends please be careful of the non- veg dishes while picking up dishes. I may not be able to list down all the items but here are the few - bread toast, butter, dosa variety, uttapa, idli, mendu wada, upma, yogurt, fresh fruits and fruit juices, chole bhature, croissants, donuts, muffins, milk, pancakes, etc. Many of the things placed in the buffet were not Jain. However, on request they were made Jain for us. Apart from the breakfast buffet, in the Ala-carte menu there are very minimal Jain food items in this restaurant. I would suggest one to visit Aravali for more variety in Jain food here. However, the breakfast here was yummm.

By far the best restaurant i had food in Udaipur.  Staff was extremely courteous and very friendly. Sunil was very helpful and also helped to give us some packed lunched on our way back.  Some of the other staff who were very helpful were Prem Singh, Gaurav and Suraj .  One improvement point though is that Coffee was always luke warm, while we like it really hot. I think overall rating of 3.9 on this site is less for this restaurant. I would rate it at 4.5 and above.

Neel Mahal is the all day dinning restaurant inside the Radisson Blu Hotel Udaipur. The restaurant has a very attentive and courteous staff. The food is above average but nothing spectacular. The spaghetti and fried rice they served was very good.

The lavish breakfast buffet had variety of veg options and also not to forget all eggless bakes which i loved. Also their north indian cusine was good. They do provide customization for their jain patrons and the stuff is very curteous.

I stayed at Radisson recently on an official trip. So, got a chance to have two breakfasts , one lunch and a dinner at Neel Mahal. The ambience is nice and the place is quite spacious however it gets really crowded during breakfast hours. We were unable to get a table for about 15 minutes. The staff took our number and called us when there was space for our group to be seated together. The seating is comfortable, they have tables inside as well as outside by the pool. The breakfast spread is huge and it was different on both the days. There were couple of live counters for south indian, omlette, pancakes and crepes etc. They had huge selection of breads, fruits and vegetable salads, variety of hot and cold beverages, local as well as international cuisine. I loved the local flavours - dal ki kachori, dal pakwan, pyaaz ka kulche etc. Apart from that they had the regular breakfast items, something for everyone - Poha, poori sabji, paratha, baked beans, toasts, eggs as per taste, grilled vegetables etc. The best part about the buffet were the desserts - great variety of Indian and western desserts from brownies, muffins, cupcakes, to ice cream , malpua and phirni. We took ala carte for lunch. The staff was quite cordial and patient and they happily customised meals as per the tastes. Over all it was a decent experience!

We  got a chance to dine-in in a couple of restaurants during our stay in this Radisson property. The Neel Mahal was their all day dining restaurant which is where we opted to have lunch once and it was also where the breakfast buffet was served during the course of our stay here. The Ala Carte menu had a good variety going. Breakfast Buffet had a bit of everything going from Indian to Continental and was worth it. Coffee was excellent here. Omelette and Dosa's were prepared well.Service was quick, Sunil was the wait staff that we were pretty impressed with and was always happy to clarify any queries or to take care of our requirements.

This is a large restaurant in the basement of the hotel. Breakfast is also served here. The usual breakfast with reasonable spread of dishes, more INDIAN dishes. I and my wife both loved the food. Couple of things that I missed were my favourite watermelon juice and some warm croissants. The tea tapri by pool side serves super milk tea.

Had lunch here a couple of times while living at this hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was tasty. However we felt that the vegetarian food choices were slightly limited. Would recommend the Malai kofta on curries, and the chilli cheese naan among the rotis.

How I Met My Food

Stayed in the property for the second time. Last year in the month of Feb had stayed here and this year we stayed in the month of August. Last year we found hair in the food and the staff gave reason of doors getting open/ close due to which "hair" flew and came in our food.  This year we stayed for 2 nights so had breakfast on 2 different days over here. Spread is good but it was literally SAME on both the days! The hotel/ restaurant should set the menu that way so that people staying for more than 1 night enjoys the different spread of breakfast. Few staff members were really nice but few were not. Especially a lady at the pancake counter- when we placed ordered, she told us to take the pancake on our own. Who does that? We are freaking paying so much for a buffet and its  a live counter  so it should be served at the table right? There are so many staff members/ waiters/ managers- so it should be served on the table. This happened twice with us on the same day!  On sunday especially, staff was not that attentive. Also, it was less crowded compared to saturday but service was bad on Sunday. We even asked for coffee but it was not served and we waited for sometime but then let it go!  The pancakes and dosas tasted really even Even kachori was really good!! But SERVICE is important!!!

The food served at this restaurant is pathetic. Breakfast at Neel Mahal restaurant had a stone in food and the Staff's attitude was that stone in food is not a big deal. The situation was poorly handled.
