The job from jagat singh(bar tender) was insane,must try cocktail from him❤️ And if you want the best service then must go through lokesh bhai , * or or most imp singer team ke ps jo table fan hai usko please change karao coz its a distraction for us and for the singer team too😅

3rd floor no elevator - casual sitting- rates are worth the food...Really nice place with tasty food.. The service staff is prompt but casual on the guest request made for food preparation... Live music on weekends add to the vibe but better singer and speakers will make it worth while.. I'm sure this must be a busy place in on-season time... The view from the restaurant is great. And yes food quantity is very good & a little above the market standards... Kudos for that...

Absolutely Not Worth It If you’re coming here for the lake view, take the view and leave. The food and service are absolutely not worth your time or money. Ordered white sauce pasta — it was bizarrely sweet and completely inedible. Then came the chicken & veg platter. The chicken tasted old and clearly didn’t seem fresh, more like something that had been sitting around/frozen. The veg platter was even worse. Then we ordered butter paneer masala with naan. The naan was among the worst I’ve had, and the paneer gravy was equally disappointing. We called the waiter over and asked him to taste it. Even he admitted the dish was poor and said he would replace it. About 10 minutes later, he returned with what was supposedly a “replacement” — except it was the same gravy with extra salt added and no paneer. When we confronted him, he actually admitted that they hadn’t prepared a new gravy and told us to simply use the paneer from the original bowl. That tells you everything you need to know about the standards here. The service was just as bad as the food. The staff seemed completely unprepared and didn’t know how to handle even basic complaints professionally. And there’s apparently no music because, according to the staff, the owner has instructed them to play only one particular type of song and no changes can be made. Honestly, given the food and service, the silence might be the least of the problems. The restaurant has almost no footfall, and after experiencing it firsthand, I now understand exactly why. Lake view: nice. Food: pathetic. Service: poor. Value for money: terrible. Overall: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Extremely disappointing experience at Shamiaana. We specifically wanted to dine on the rooftop, but the staff refused to accommodate us. The reason they gave was unbelievable—they said they get tired climbing the stairs to serve guests upstairs. I’ve never heard such an unprofessional excuse from a restaurant. Hospitality is about serving customers, not making them feel like they’re asking for a favor. The staff’s attitude was dismissive, lazy, and completely customer-unfriendly. Instead of finding a solution, they simply chose convenience over service. If a restaurant advertises or has a rooftop dining area but is unwilling to serve guests there because the staff doesn’t want to use the stairs, it reflects very poor management and a lack of basic customer service standards. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. There are plenty of restaurants in Udaipur that genuinely value their customers—I would recommend choosing one of those instead.

Don't try any vegetarian dish. All the dishes are too salty and after complaining they balance extra salt by adding some sugar content. waste of money
