"This is called soul food" - The first sentence when I entered this place. The gigantic view of fateh sagar lake and the lush green gardens with the palm trees gave the most beautiful experience in my foodie journey till now. Also the lobby appears so rich with the right choice of heritage interiors and lighting. This is a luxury hotel but priced moderately. Location is easy to reach with ample parking space and all other amenities you can think about. The restaurant's name is 'The Urban Tadka' accompanied by a bar called 'Frangipani by the Lake'. Both the restaurant as well as the bar offers inside and outside seating options. The swimming pool is only for in-house guests. Point First - How's the food? 1. Paneer Achari Tikka (5/5) - The authenticity in the preparation can be felt from the first bite. Righly sliced cubes and goodness of spices. 2. Baked Vegetables (5/5) - No complaints here too. Served hot with good quality of cheese & fresh veggies. 3. Spring Rolls (3.5/5) - Nothing extraordinary or new but still the taste was good. Quantity or the size of rolls should be increased. Also they can serve the red chilli​ chutney with it as the combo would be awesome. 4. White Pasta (4/5) - The sauces, cheese and flavor was perfect. Theses are on a dry side but i liked it very much. Add-ons could be served with it as it's a premium restaurant. Point Second - How's the hospitality? I must say that I didn't expected the staff to be this much kind & humble. The hospitality part is overwhelming and so is the service. Point Third - How's the maintenance, ambience & presentation? Both the inside & outside eating areas are aptly maintained and everything is of right quality. The carpet area is nor huge neither small enough. The Concluding Point - This place offers an experience you can't measure in monetary terms and still the prices are not super-high. Be it family, friends or couples, this place is nice to each set of people. The relaxing view and authentic cuisines - it's remarkable. P.S. an excellent place for dinner or evening hi tea as the place provide mesmerizing view of fateh sagar lake. the service was decent as expect from a five star fine dining specially Mr. vineet. Food was excellent, perfectly cooked with packed delicious flavours. Dal makhni, Achari Paneer tikka and the hakka noodles are the stand outs. rest dishes As paneer butter masala, Mushroom matar and the assorted breads were also good. it's a must must go to place 😍😍😍😍😍😍

On vacation to udaipur we stayed at hotel lakend where they have their dine in area names Urban tadka.,first impression was just superb ambiance ., food was very good., service also very good., had a great time.,👌🏻👌🏻👍👍👍👍

very poor service with waiters rushing for orders and picking the plates. food was subpar, oily and lacked flavour. AC was also kept off while outside seating was infested with pigeons.

I had given my Birthday treat and they spoiled my evening. Bad food, very very bad service and too rude staff. I don't know for what they charge this much.

washrooms not cleaned. inspite of i foeming front deak to clean after 30 mins status remans the same. daal served was stale. chach was stale too.
