One of the best South Indian restaurant I've ever visited in Vadodara 👍22 Parallel is a typical south Indian restaurant which serves best south dishes in Vadodara. Highly recommended place for dinning with both Family & Friends..If i talk about the price, then it is very reasonable and once you ate the food you can feel that it's value for money as well. Each dish was a bomb like their kurmura dosa, their Malabar paratha meal, dahi vada, mini masala fried idli, Sambhar, Chutneys, pineapple kesari, paniyaram and what not! l'm not going to give my recommendation because everything was a bomb. Their team put in so much effort into every dish, that would be unfair to pick favorites. You got to visit the place and try for yourself or order online. So just in case you want to spend time with your foodie close ones, please visit the place. Just make sure that you are not visiting in between 2-3 as at that time the restaurant is close. Time is morning 11-2 & 4-11:30..

Paniyaram, Rasam are really good. Keerai dosa has cheese in it which is also tasty. Kurmure dosa also very good in taste. Filter coffee and coconut milk also can be tried. Overall good experience and nice family place to try out some South Indian dishes.

A very good chain for South Indian food. Their pudina dosa, sambhar and rasams are amazing. They have different rasams for each day. I have usually found this place crowded and there is a waiting time of half an hour to one hour. But the food is quite authentic and great in taste. Ambience and service is also decent.

When it comes to serving authentic food from the South in Vadodara, 22nd parallel is the place. This restaurant is very popular in town due to which there is always a waiting period during peak timings. The menu mainly consists of items from Kerala and the prices are not too expensive. Tried Neer dosa with Avail curry, Kothu parota and Chocu milkshake. Neer dosa was average, however, chutney and Avail were good. Kothu parota was tasty but a touch spicy. Chocolate milkshake was decent. Service was a bit slow. The place is on the first floor. The interiors are nicely done.

Summary: A thoroughly disappointing experience, both in terms of food and dining. While the ambiance was fine, the taste of the food fell short of expectations. Food: Mysore Masala Dosa & Rava Onion Masala Dosa: The masala was bland and lacked the characteristic flavors you expect from South Indian cuisine. Sambhar: Thick and overly sweet, far from the authentic taste. Coconut Chutney & Idli: The chutney was decent, and the idli was soft but not memorable. Dining Experience: The wait time was approximately 30 minutes. To add to the disappointment, they had huge notice saying we do not honor Zomato Gold or Swiggy Dineout bookings. Payment was inconvenient as the credit card machine was non-functional. Recommendation: I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for an authentic and satisfying South Indian meal. Instead, consider visiting: 1. Hotel Sudha 2. Cafe Bengaluru Both offer better flavors, taste, and value for money. Verdict: Not worth the wait or the money spent.
