Bong Flavour - As the name suggests Bengali Flavour Cuisine but its one of the best authentic Bengali Cuisine i ever had even better taste than any hotel in Bengal they serve in Baroda. One of the best i ever had anywhere in India. I booked them for my Brother's Son's(Aarush) Thread Ceremony for around 35 guests coming from all around India to serve Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner for 5 days. I am very much pleased and surprised with the great Taste , Authenticity, Presentation , Hospitality, Quality , Hygience and Quantity and unmatchable price Kakuli Di is giving in this competitive market. My Guests cannot stop praising their Taste and Service. They didnt even compromise even a single day starting from day one they were very much presentable , well dressed as chefs with all covid safety measures. Food was served hot with great taste, quality and quantity i and our guests ever had from any catering or hotel business. It was icing on the cake for our ceremony with such service to please our guests who came to attend our ceremony from all over india. Thanks to Kakuli Di, Shantanu and their Team to give such a service and make our occassion successful upto the mark. I would recommend each and everyone of them if you think of any party or occassion for any number of days just Dial Kakuli di and you dont have to take care of the food section. The service they provide is nevertheless than 5 star hotel with such a competitive price. Thanks to Bong Flavor - Kakuli Di & Team....KUDOS From: Chakraborty Family

I am a regular customer of Bong Flavors for the past 2 years..being a Bengali I must say, they serve authentic in homely Bengali foods as well as Bengali Street foods which never let me feel that I stay far away from my home...Every dish has its typical traditional Bengali flavor..Highly recommend if you want to try authentic Bengali food in Vadodara...the ambience over here is terrific..Feels like a small part of Bengal in Baroda.. The owner is very sweet and very welcoming..the staffs are extremely good..Service - 10/10..Must Visit..Must try..

The test and quality both are awesome, especially they are using separate masala for separate items, means don’t use panner masala in chicken items. I use to get food from this restaurant at least 5 days in a week, I love their test and I suggest all of them to get test typically Bengali Rosogolla and Misti dahi. My rating will be always 5 out of 5. Enjoy foods here.

Great food and very very economical price. I went for a dinner with my family and had an amazing experience. We had chicken pakora and egg pakora in starters. In main course we had deem sorse and Ilish sorse with rice. The taste was amazing and absolutely Authentic. Must recommend to everyone 👌

Being a bengali it feels very authentic and we gets our food away from home. Overall satisfied regular customers.

In search of good Bengal food, we found this small hidden joint where we enjoyed an authentic Mutton Biryani Kolkata style, not overly spicy, just right with egg and potato apart from good sized chunks of mutton. plans to go back for the rolls and macher jhol soon!

Two of us went dining to the restaurant and orderer a kolkata style chicken biryani half (1 aaloo, 1 egg, 1 chicken) and a fish thali ( potato fry, fish curry, rice, dal, chutney and papad). The order took more than 10 minutes to be served. Once served, there was no one to ask if we would need anything or if we wanted rice or dal (those were unlimited in the thali). The biryani rice was fine, aaloo was tasty enough but the chicken piece is not the kind you serve at a restaurant. You DO NOT serve a chicken breast along with part of the rib in. Similarly, for the fish, it did not feel fresh. For the ones who know, it's the taste you get if the fish has been fried already quite sometime ago and then it has grown cold, waiting to be put into a Kalia or a torkari. It felt bad. Bong flavours has grown to be a good brand, but the attention to quality is missing. There is a general hype for the place due to Bengalis missing Bengali food and finding comfort in whatever is Bengali, but being a Bengali myself, it pains to see a misshapen chicken piece staring out from a ₹250 half plate biryani. They do not mention if the price mentioned in the menu includes GST or not so, our bill, instead of being ₹449, suddenly became ₹472. Not that we could not afford the 5% tax, it's about the principle and here they are lacking! I wish that the owner realizes that humility is a necessity in the service industry and it is the patrons who are ultimately the kings. Anyway, plans to bring other non Bengali foodies to introduce to Bengali cuisine will have to be reconsidered to other places. Good luck to others, hope you have a better experience.

Good food but uninterested staff. I went all the way to have Bengali fish but they had only 01 option in mustard curry. No prawns, no chilly fish nothing was available. I had nice experience when I tasted the food at Subhanpura durga pooja pandal but this time it was disappointing. Even the Rosogulla was not same which we had that day..Not the actual bengali Rosogulla for sure.

I have been a regular customer at Bong Flavours and have even recommended it to many of my friends because of the good food and overall experience. However, my recent visit completely ruined all the positive impressions I had of this restaurant. Today, I visited with my mother and placed an order for starters and the main course. Shortly after, another family arrived, who appeared to be personal friends of the owner, Kakoli Mallick. Despite ordering after us, they were served their entire meal—starters and main course—while we sat waiting for over 30 minutes with no food being served to us. This blatant favoritism is unacceptable and unprofessional. When you are running a business, it is your responsibility to treat all customers equally, not prioritize personal acquaintances. After waiting so long with no food or acknowledgment, we decided to leave. The staff didn’t even bother to apologize for their behavior or the delay. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I will not be returning to Bong Flavours. I can no longer recommend this place to anyone. If this is how they treat loyal customers, they will surely lose more in the future.

Very very slow service. Even though the restaurant is empty to make just 2 things it takes more than 1 hr for the food to get ready. Highly not recommended for service.
