You know that the restaurant will be good when you see it full at 2pm on a Friday. Jassi De Parathe located at alkapuri is an extremely popular joint in the city for it's authentic amritsari food. The ambience gives out the vibes of a modern Punjabi Dhaba with Punjabi songs playing in the background. We started off our meal with masala papad and the cheese makai di tikki. The papad was different from other restaurants, it was thinner and the overall taste was good. However, it did get the gujarati addition of cucumber on it which should have been avoided. The makai di tikki was a blend of potato, cheese and corn, shallow fried and served along with chutney. It was soft and the taste was nice. Have it with a touch of the garlic chutney available on the table to take it to the next level. For the mains we ordered Paneer Amritsari along with laccha Paratha and the Garlic naan dal makhani combo. It took only one bite to bring back the nostalgia of my visit to Amritsar. These were hands down one of the best dishes that I've eaten in my life. The taste of both the items was exceptional, and the garlic naan and laccha Paratha complimented them perfectly. The chaas given with the combo was also outstanding Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience. The service is quick and the staff is warm and welcoming. The prices are pocket friendly as well. This is definitely going to turn into my go to place every time I visit Baroda.

This dhaba themed restaurant is located in a very prime location at Alkapuri. Popular among the youth. There is usually waiting at peak hours. It offers quite some variety in Punjabi cuisines. Lots of ranges in Paratha. The food tasted amazing. Full marks to Cheese da Paratha,Moong ka halwa and Lassi. They have two levels. At level one you get the Dhaba feel as one needs to remove ones footwears, fold legs and sit. The prices were not that extremely high. A great experience overall. A must visit place.

Visited this restaurant during my 2 day visit in Vadodara and i must say this is a go to place for all North Indian food lovers. All their Parathas are tasty and value for money considering the portion size.

Jassi de Parathe is worth the waiting. Always. The consistency of the quality is remarkable. Samosa chat & sounf ka sharbat are my Favourites there. The staff is good at their job.

I recently ordered food online from "Jassi de Parathe," a restaurant known for its exceptional Delhi style food. However, this time, the experience left much to be desired. While the in-house Dilli wali chat is usually outstanding and consistent, the delivered version fell short of the restaurant's high standard. The taste was noticeably different and didn't live up to my previous experiences. It's disheartening when a favorite dish doesn't meet expectations, especially when you've come to rely on a particular level of quality. I hope "Jassi de Parathe" addresses this lapse in consistency, as it's the attention to detail that sets them apart. Despite this recent letdown, I'm optimistic they can regain their footing and continue to provide the outstanding cuisine they're known for.

Totally pathetic service and the staff takes the customers for granted. On 12/11/2022 around 1:30 PM IST, we ordered paratha and chhole from their Jain menu and added a Chat without dahi. As soon as the order was received by the employee, another one murmured loudly “Pyaz nahi chahiye, Lasan nahi chahiye, Dahi nahi chahiye to aaye kyu ho <Loud abuses>. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour. Please think twice before taking your guests, office colleagues, and loved ones there. Fortunately, we were able to leave the premises at once and not be a part of the nonsense.

All the Paratha were tasting the same and not good at all. I have eaten earlier, but the taste has all gone down. They did not even have chilled chass... Very disappointing.
