One and only place in Vadodara for authentic sushi . Its a bit expensive but worth it . Almost Everything in the menu is amazing specially mixed meat and seafood rice .

Loved the place. Even though going on Saturday lunch time; it was empty- Definitely a plus. The sushi was my first try! I didn’t like it because it was way tooo authentic. I mean we’re Indians after all, gujjus to be precise. Had a couple of dishes more, can’t remember the name super fancy! But they were nice. Tasty! Chef came to ask for review and upon us mentioning about the sushi (vegetarian); he told us to let him know prior the next time and he’d make it in a little Indian taste and they removed it from our bill too since we didn’t eat anything from the dish- super nice gesture from them. Will definitely go again!

After a lon....g time, found a authentic, tasty and yummy pan Asian food. The taste, ambience & the quality of Thai food is very very delicious. Main course which is Thai green curry is sweet savory with typical taste of Thai cuisine. The preparation done by chef is commendable. The Desert which is called dear-si-kwo-wo-peng is basically pen cake with honey topped & served with vanilla Ice cream is one of the sweet desert I have. If you are tired off with routine Indian cuisine, you should try Japanese, Chinese & Thai at Kai-Asia.

Kai Asia is a Pan asian restaurant located inside Vivanta by Taj. The interiors are impressive. The staff was polite. Wide range of options. Tried the Ramen soup which was good and filling. The prices are on the higher side. They have parking inside the premises. Overall a good dining experience.

Disappointing experience.There was no salt in chicken and Noodles. And the chef refused to acknowledge. They have not been consistent with their food at all. Don't expect that from Taj Vivanta.

Kai Asia is a Great 5 star restaurant with zero star hygenie. I wish I had a way to rate them less than a star. 😂. We ordered manchow soup, Hakka noodles and Veg Sushi platter. Our first dish came was manchow soup and then came the Veg Sushi platter a garnish of Hair. Look for the second picture or zoom this one on the rolls. Lost appetit immediately and left from there. The manager was very apologetic but it ruined the whole evening and mood for the Chinese and Japanese food. Not sure if we will be ever able to come out of this trauma and even think about visiting kai asia. Such big brands like Taj, with such careless hygenie and maintenance is Shame. 😐

An extremely slow service, non-one to even fill your water , food was okay at best. You”ll need to literally shout to get to place your order a dish and then wait at-least 45 minutes to get your order .

We did a prior reservation but when we reached the restaurant our booking was not available and we were not even given a different table. Very bad experience
