My mother used to come to this restaurant during the period of 1982-86 and her exact words are the food was and still amazing and we were thoroughly satisfied with the food n please do try cheese kulcha. It is the best restaurant in vadodara

I have ordered from New Alka several times and it is worth it. The food is delicious and the price is also very reasonable. The delivery is time efficient and service is great. A must go place with family.

Amazing food. Quality food at lower rates. Always love to eat food here, even order online and take away as well. Service is absolutely fine with very friendly staff. Highly recommended..!!

We ordered dal kichadi from this place, it tasted really good just like home cooked. The quantity was upto the price. Would definitely try other dishes.

It's a famous place and kind of naam bade aur darshan chote ... It's my wife favourite place since times I don't know , we had a visit to vadodara and she insured me for having a recall of her previous time so we went there for some chinese snacks which she used to have there, which I had heard thousands of time from her saying new alka is this and that ...... Bla bla bla ....But when had the things personally I thought my wife has no clue for better taste ...But when I found other customer shouting for the same things about kacha papad and less cooked food . I understood that either the chef has changed or there is miss management in total no value to customer centricity ...Giving 3 just my wife insisted not to give 1 . Not a good experience .

Onion and lime supplied with food was like stale. Very poor quality salad packed. Not good as per reputation of yr restaurant. I think changed the quality of food also.

Worst place to visit ever .. We went there at 10:40 pm no staff or owner itself told us that it is closing time and they let us sit. While ordering also they didn't informed us that kindly give the final order after 10 minutes there another staff member comes and asks us to order our final order we ordered dal fry-jeera rice and the next minute I added one more sabji for ordering they told us that it cannot be made as the kitchen is closed and our dal fry-jeera rice were also not served yet....and instead of jeera rice they served us plain rice saying that staff has gone home...my whole family was hungry is this the way to treat to their customers ..after complaining there staff started abusing us ...I suggest each and every single one never visit NEW ALKA RESTAURANT OF ALKAPURI BRANCH ..

Zero hygiene horrible servers. The person who takes order is too rude. He wants you to repeat everything you say twice. Food too oily and clumsy. Shit on the whole.
