What I ordered - Cheese Paneer Masala, Butter Naan & Rotis, Masala Papad, Buttermilk and Mango shake with Ice-cream. New Alka is a great affordable restaurant to have South Indian and North Indian food in Vadodara. The fatehgunj branch is the best one among the Alka chain restaurants. I personally like their Punjabi dishes the most. The cheese paneer masala was so good, it had cubes of cheese in it which melted so easily in my mouth and it had a perfect balance of spices. The Masala Papad was crispy and nice. Buttermilk was cool and soothing. Then the mango shake with ice cream was really delicious. The servers don't bother you much but are always a signal away. They have both AC as well as non ac seatings. The only thing I didn't like was that they charge you more if you dine in the AC hall. But still this is a must visit place at least once.

Always fresh and best quality food. They are really maintaining there taste. Best menu of South Indian food.Moreover Punjabi menu also has a great variety.

well its south India food esp wada sambhar is really nice..wadas are hot and crispy with proper South Indian chutney.... Punjabi food has normal taste with good price...if anytime looking for nice family restaurant can visit this place..

Pav bhaji ordered was excellent with good portion. Onion Rava dosa made good as instructed. Very good service. Even morning breakfast Idli vada mix served piping hot around 8.30am.

Good experience with this restaurant, food quality is good. I must say from all the New alka restaurants this outlet is far better. Big thums up 👍

the New Alka Restaurant is near my workplace. so lunch time we go there. and I order always dahi vada. I like that dahi vada that was amazing and testy .... i like so much.....

Not at all recommended. Average food quality with pathetic service. The paneer sabji which we had ordered has no taste in it. Service staff did not even bother to serve salad.

We ordered 3 Mysore masala dosa 1 schezwan dosa and 1 uttapa ... Very poor quality ... Salt very less and no taste in dosa .. when we called owner he cut the call after hearing few lines ... Never go for new Alka food

Very bad experience. I placed Maysor masala dosa but restaurant sent me masala dosa. So I can not Place order again to this restaurant. I feel cheating.
