Had a privilege to stay over at their hotel. The restaurant is an amazing place to have your daily dinner or lunch. They had been serving fresh food with the apt taste. We loved the paneer preparations suggested by the owners. The most fascinating thing is the owners are young and dynamic leading their crew at the kitchen and restaurant from the front. Would love to get back here.

The food was amazing. one of the best place to have dinner post all the tiredness of walking through the streets of banaras. The menu had all the options and the food exceeded expectations and was very refreshing. Another important thing is that it is very affordable and listed on Zomato Dining as well

Review for 1916 Cafe and Restaurant Our experience at 1916 Cafe and Restaurant was nothing short of terrible. Despite the restaurant being practically empty, with only two tables occupied, we were completely ignored for over five minutes. Not a single staff member came to greet us or take our order. Instead, the servers were busy chatting and making personal connections, blatantly prioritizing their socializing over attending to paying customers. Shockingly, they didn’t even bother to serve us water. We felt unwelcome and utterly disrespected, forcing us to leave without even getting a chance to order. This place clearly provides special treatment only to their chosen “favorites” and neglects everyone else. Save your time and dignity—if you value decent service, avoid 1916 Cafe and Restaurant at all costs.

Food is pathetic, stayed at their hotel and ordered chilli garlic noodles with manchurian at restaurant. No salt, no garlic, no spice in noodles, First served with overload of soya and vinegar sauces in manchurian, they made it again and second time it was stale. Even roti served was cold. Pls do not eat here.

Pathetic service. They asked us to wait for 30 minutes and don't even have a seating area. When asked to add us to the waiting list, they don't have a wait-list. They want us to wait for 30 minutes standing in their restaurant. The order delivery took 10 minutes with continuous nagging.

they gave us our food after exactly 35 minutes. I mean you cant expect your customers to wait half and hour to give us something simple as daal and roti.

Food is average Quantity is quite less for every item Waiting time for food is quite high I would say disappointing.
