5 Stars Baati Chokha Restaurant in Teliabagh, Banaras is an absolute treasure for food lovers! The moment you step in, you're transported to a rural, traditional Banarasi setting—with earthy decor, clay walls, and the aroma of authentic desi ghee filling the air. Their star offering, the Baati Chokha Thali, is nothing short of a feast—it’s packed with flavor, love, and the true essence of Purvanchal cuisine. Every bite of the baati is crisp and buttery, the chokha is smoky and perfectly spiced, and the accompaniments—from tangy pickles to cooling chutneys—tie it all together. And the best part? Every thali is unlimited! You’re not just served food—you’re pampered like a guest in a Banarasi home. They also offer other thali options, each one crafted with care, but the Baati Chokha is the highlight. If you're in Banaras and haven’t eaten here, you’re missing out on a cultural and culinary experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy real, soulful food that speaks of tradition, warmth, and heritage.

A Truly Authentic Varanasi Experience at Baati Chokha If you're looking to experience the real taste and culture of Varanasi, Baati Chokha is a must-visit. The ambiance beautifully reflects traditional rural India, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere from the moment you enter. One of the most unique aspects of this place is that you can actually see traditional methods being used. The charkha and other village-style setups add to the authenticity, and watching chutney being freshly prepared on a stone grinder makes the experience even m

Visited Baati Chokha in Banaras and ordered the Special Thali (Paneer Baati Chokha). The thali came with baati, chokha, dal, rice, two varieties of chutneys, and kheer. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful, giving a true traditional taste. The seating was comfortable, and the rates are quite competitive for the quality and quantity offered. Overall, a very satisfying experience

we came visit Varanasi amd had heard a lot about this Bati Chokha restaurant .. seeing the immense crowd outside and inside the premises we hoped to have a good experience but contrary to our assumption experience was pathetic..we had to wait for about 1 hour 30 mins tp get a seal then another 40mins for the service to start. People were fighting and shouting everywhere for seat and service. situation was worst than a roadside eatery.. the staff was all inexperienced ans had no clue on how to handle.. food quality was also not good.. food was mostly cold... in a nutahell- PLEASE DO NOT PLAN TO VISIT THIS PLACE.. Its a complete waste of time and money.. the hype is created mostly via paid social media influencers

‘Naam bade or darshan chote’’ is perfectly matching. We visited on 3rd April. We waited for more than 90 minutes. After 90 minutes of waiting we inform that the all option are not available ( we wanted to try roti thali). We observe noise level was too high. No proper feedback on delay in waiting. Not only we faced pathetic service but there were other people also who faced poor service. We leave the restaurant with regret why we choose this. The place is not worth visiting with friends and family

As a local of Banaras, this restaurant overrated; the food here is actually not good at all. I ordered the ₹375 plate, and the *baati* was burnt and extremely hard. The other items—like the *dal*, chutney, and buttermilk—also lacked good flavor. The *kheer* was good, but one of the worst things was that a man charged us a parking fee of ₹20 per bike.
