I am not writing this out of anger. I am writing this because somewhere, a restaurant owner needs to read these words and understand what it feels like to be on the other side of this experience. You have a brand people trust enough to walk in with their friends and their expectations. That trust is not something to be taken for granted. I had visited many barbecue restaurants across Vijayawada, and when I saw the brand AB's Absolute Barbecues, I genuinely believed it would be worth it. I brought my friends along, excited to show them a good time. That decision became one I regretted the moment we sat down. This is a barbecue. The people who work here should know what that means they should be welcoming, they should be attentive, and above everything else, they should value the time and trust of every person who walks through that door. We had booked in advance. We came with expectations built on the brand name. That trust was broken before the meal even properly began. Nobody came to us for a long time after we were seated. I had to personally get up and find someone just to get the process started. When starters finally arrived, they came in such small quantities that they were gone before everyone at the table could even get a piece and then the wait began again. Ten minutes, fifteen minutes, repeating the same cycle of calling, waiting, and being ignored. At one point, a staff member had the nerve to ask if they could stop serving starters while we were still sitting there, hungry and waiting. The buffet counter was no better. Dish after dish had plenty of gravy and almost no meat. When I asked the kitchen staff to add more, they put in a few small pieces and walked away, unbothered. And then I noticed something that genuinely upset me — other tables were being served dishes that were not even on the buffet counter. When I asked a waiter about it, he casually told me those items cost extra. I had paid ₹899 per person for an unlimited buffet, and the better food was quietly being kept away unless you paid more. That felt like a betrayal of the most basic trust between a restaurant and its customers. The service was the worst I have experienced. But we held on, thinking at least the food would make up for it. It didn't. It was somehow even more disappointing. The dessert section was almost non-existent. The gulab jamun was honestly the worst I have tasted at any restaurant. The ice cream counter had no one manning it, so we opened the freezer ourselves and served each other. That one moment said everything about how much this place values the people who walk through its doors. The only thing that was genuinely good throughout the entire meal was the mutton seekh kebab. One item. That was it. What hurt the most was not just the food or the service it was the embarrassment. I had brought my friends here trusting the brand. I had built it up. And instead of a good meal, I watched them wait endlessly, eat poorly, and sit in a place where the staff couldn't care less. I had wasted their time, their money, and the mood of the entire outing. And after all of that, a staff member came to our table and asked for a positive rating. I will not be recommending this place to anyone from here on. Not a single person. Because I would never want someone else to go through what we did the waiting, the disappointment, the embarrassment of having vouched for a place that simply does not deserve that trust.

Absolutely disappointed. The food quality was very poor and not up to the mark. Even though there were many items, none of them tasted good. Not recommended at all. It’s better to choose another restaurant if you’re looking for tasty food. Overall, a bad experience at Absolute Barbecue.

Worstt buffet…. Food not served continuously, food is getting out of stock and not getting refilled soon , too late service , taste not good , not even water is provided by them . Worst experience!!

Bad service, Bad Maintenance ,Bad Food, Very unclean washrooms. A terrible experience. ABSOLUTELY Disappointed! Giving one star because it's not possible to give Zero.

The food is too bland even after giving repeated suggestions. The service was too delayed. We were not satisfied at all. Left with heavy heart and zero satisfaction
