Nice food. Special thali has weight of 2.2 kg. Even three persons cannot finish full thali. Qty of rice is 700grams. About 15 items in special thali.

The one of the old n famous restaurant in Vijayawada is now renovated n having separate kitchens for both veg/ non-veg people.. I like to prefer for veg restaurant only always.. I like to eat Spl veg thali Comes with tomato soup, fruit juice, one cold dessert, poori/tandoori naan, panner subji, veg subji Rice , one type of fry one type of gravy curry, sambar, rasam, papad, curd Ambience 4/5 Taste 4/5 Service 3.5/5 Quality 4/5 Value for money 3.5/5

We missed some items like icecream, mixed veg, methi chaman, and corn soup. rest of the food very quality and tasty we love this food very much thanks to zomato, food delivered on time

#memusafir in #vijayawada Hotel Manorama is one of the old hotels in Vijayawada that has been around for quite some time now. It is located near the old bus stand in governorpet, right on the main road. Very easy to locate. Now we were here for lunch and decided to go into the vegetarian section of the restaurant called 1968. The decor and interiors were a bit too dark for my liking. And nothing matched the theme of 1968 save a display of old vintage table ware and cutlery belonging to that era. This restaurant does not have a buffet option. We ordered standard thalis and a deluxe thali. The pricing is Rs 180 for standard and Rs 260 for deluxe thali. The basic thali items are Puri/roti , papad ,dal, rasam, sambar, two curries ( bhindi and beans in our case) , chutney, curd, korma, pulihara , one motichoor laddu and assorted podis and pickles on the table. The deluxe version has the basic items as it is. Pulihara is replaced with pulao, laddu with gulab jamun, roti with butter naan, paneer curry, soup , ice cream are also served The tastes were fine, almost all items tasted nice. The motichoor laddu was a let down. Service and pricing are also fine considering it's a 3 star hotel. Just my personal opinion but decor in the buffet section was much better. AMBIENCE WAS EXELLENT. BUT FOOD SOME TIMES TASTY MANY TIMES WORST. CENTRALLY LOCATED. BREAKFAST ITEMS ARE VERY VERY HIGH PRICED. ANDHRA MEALS AND SPECIAL MEALS JUST OKAY.

ordered special thali with pepsi. They delivered half the items. Did not give Fried rice, gave two small roti instead of butter nan. Gave pepsi in plastic cover. worst hotel and worst service..

Worst of the worst veg biryaani I've ever seen. I've ordered the special veg biryaani which is rotten within 2 hrs. I'm unable to give even a single rate.

Tried this item here. Veg Biryani - 2/5 stars (Tasteless! Also, the menu given was pure vegetarian but they were serving non vegetarian too!)
