we had a get together with friends at visakhapatnam this year.we had lunch at subbiah gari .Andhra meals was served with two variety rice around 6 side dishes and couple of sweets.Pappu sambar curries were excellent. Waiters were very friendly and were suggesting dishes and how it was prepared to have during refills.Ambience was really good and ideal for families also.really cherish the experience

This was my second visit to the place, and I was equally impressed with the food and service both times. The food was authentic Andhra cuisine—spicy, flavourful, and absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, and the service was exceptional. I look forward to visiting again on my next trip to Visakhapatnam.

We went as family of eight , it was our first authentic andhra food experience … had many chutney rice and poodi rice along with paruppu …. The servers were kind enough to explain how to eat . The poruiyal was too good esp rhe jackfruit poriyal . Service was fast and prompt …. Spread was too good for thali and also in banana leaf … overall must visit place in Vizag for Andhra food

Too good to have vegetarian thali with a very huge spread of varieties. The hospitality of the original Subbai Gari Hotel has been experienced.

Not at all worth the hype. Or the money.... Only tomato pappu and pulihora were good... Dondakaya avakaya was okay.

Went on 11th May 2024 for Lunch with family and ordered Rs 280 subbayya gaari special thali. 1. Not at all up to the mark with food. FOOD RATING: 1/5 Quality:1/5 Taste:1/5 Varieties: 4/5 RICE: Half cooked and hard to digest rice Curries: Hard to find any vegetable except oil and masalas. Recipe to increase acidity and heart burn Taste: Spicy and oily food filled with masalas,recipe for heart burn acidity and poor quality food 2.Service: Heard a lot about service factor for this flagship hotel.EXTREMELY Lethargic service with no interest. Service :0/5

I ordered Pesara punukula curry, dondakaya coconut fry, kaju tomato curry, roti pachadi. Food was stale, probably cooked 2 days before. Smelling bad. Horrible food. Food got delivered within 15 min of placing order. How can they cook and deliver in 15 min? Food is smelling stale and caused heath problem to my family. Please don’t eat here unless you want to become sick and get hospitalized. Zomato should stop their services to this hotel or Zomato fame will be bad.

Zomato pro available for dining but they were not accepting. Reason: they forgot to turn off for the day. They never turn off.
