I don't have any issue with the taste of the food which was good but there is something else which I want to highlight here. Maybe the kitchen team is using dalda instead of vegetable oil for cooking their food. Reason for that is we ordered 1 portion chicken biryani, 3 rotis, 1 keema curry (which we could not finish) , 1 dish of tandoori pomfret and 1 dish of paneer popcorn for 3 adults and a 7yr old. we finished the food at around 1:30 PM but surprisingly after coming home till night 9:00 PM we felt that we were still full. This usually happens when the food eaten in rich and heavy or someone had a heavy meal at a buffet joint. Since we did not do any of that we felt somehow may be the oil used was not upto the mark. This the management can only look into and figure out if any of such thing has happened.

Date of Visit: 17th June 2025 Group Size: 15 Members I feel compelled to share my experience at Tycoon Restaurant, Visakhapatnam, which was not just disappointing, but absolutely shocking—especially from a place that carries such a renowned reputation in the city. This was my first visit, and we came with great expectations. Unfortunately, the entire experience—from food quality to service—was deeply underwhelming and unacceptable. We started with Chicken Manchow Soup, which lacked any real flavor and was far from appetizing. Next, we ordered three starters: Ajwain Fish Tikka – The fish was dry, stale, and clearly not fresh. Chilli Chicken – The chicken was tough and not tender at all. Prawn Starter – This was somewhat okay, but excessively spicy and not balanced. Shockingly, all items were brought to the table at once, including the soup and all starters. It created an overwhelming mess, leaving us unable to enjoy any dish properly. This is not how food should be served in any decent restaurant, let alone one that claims to be among the best. Then came the Chicken Fry Biryani. Let me be clear—this was the worst biryani I have ever had. The chicken pieces were dry, blackened, and tasted like leftovers from previous days. The rice lacked any flavor or aroma typical of a good biryani. It was hard to believe this dish came from a reputed establishment. The most disturbing part—5 out of 15 members from our group fell ill with symptoms of food poisoning the very next day. This clearly reflects the poor hygiene and extremely questionable quality of ingredients being used. If I were to rank the worst restaurants I’ve visited in my life, Tycoon would be at the top of the list. This experience was not just bad—it was unsafe. A place with such a name and legacy should hold itself to much higher standards. Serving stale food, poor hospitality, and putting customers’ health at risk is inexcusable. We regret choosing Tycoon for our family dinner, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. It’s better to stay hungry than risk your health with such carelessly prepared food. Disappointed beyond words.

Very bad experience . They had give 10% off on Zomato booking and I have paid initial amount and prebooked to avail that offer . But they were insisting me to pay them directly and they were not even giving the offer . If you don’t want to give the offer then don’t out the offer in Zomato
