About Dj Russel

Offering 25 years of knowledge in the field of music, Dj Russel can leverage this experience to read any crowd. He was thus nominated and won the MyFav Award 2015-2016 in the Rock/Retro Category and still holds the title! He has been teaching and nurturing hearts and hands that want to be DJs; at colleges, clubs, and various other music learning spaces for a little over 15 years and now finally has his own teaching space called Fun Factory in Bandra. He is also Brand Ambassador with UDG since 2017 and Brand Endorsee for Audio Technica since 2018. He currently is the in-house disc jockey & is creatively involved at Door No.1 – The Retro Bar & Kitchen in Bandra, Mumbai, bringing back to the people the sounds, tunes, and media from the 50s-90s.

About Dj Roane

Music is a taste Roane acquired in primary school when he learnt to play the tabla and performed with an orchestra. The art of disc jockeying soon took a front seat, when at the age of 13 he started playing at private parties and social gatherings; all of which culminated into a talent that translated into full-fledged high profile gigs across the country and globally, residencies at top clubs, music properties, collaborations, and accolades galore. Youth won over experience, as he became the youngest DJ to hold a residency back in the late 90s and win the DMC at the age of 16! In 2008 he started the Roane Mixing Club and from there to Roane 101 in 2017, he has trained and placed some amazing talent in top clubs across India and even abroad.
