What is Pawga, anyway?

Pawga was started in 2020 to help shelter pets socialise, find their forever homes, and raise funds for the shelter. We pioneered puppy yoga in India and gradually introduced other unique experiences to help people from different walks of life connect with shelter pets and experience the joy they bring.

What happens at Art with Puppies/Dogs at Pawga?

At Pawga’s Paint/Art with Puppies sessions, it’s not just about learning to draw or paint. We’ll provide you with all the art supplies, and you’ll be guided through mindful prompts specially designed for the event.

These prompts are intended to help you reflect and bring your innermost thoughts and feelings to life on your canvas. And the best part? Puppies and dogs from local shelters will be running around you, helping break the ice and adding an extra dose of joy to the experience.

But why should I join Pawga?

Umm… because we’re cool! (Kidding… but not really.)

All the puppies and older dogs you’ll meet at Pawga are from your local animal shelter. They’re all looking for a loving home, and the best part is that a portion of your ticket fee goes towards the welfare of animals at the shelter. In Bangalore, we work closely with Charlie’s Animal Rescue Centre (CARE).

Please also note that there may be small puppies, big puppies, and older dogs at the event. We love them in all shapes and sizes — and we hope you will too! These are the pets currently up for adoption at the shelter.

Why should this matter amidst all my existential joys and crises?

Because sometimes, you don’t need to overthink the ‘why’.

Because, deep down, you know you need to contribute to your wellness and take care of yourself. And simple art therapy surrounded by puppies might be a small but meaningful way to start.

Because these puppies and dogs don’t always get the affection they deserve — and even if they can’t say it, meeting you might just be the best day of their lives.

The event will run for 60 minutes. You’re welcome to arrive 15 minutes early (we recommend it!) and stay 15–20 minutes after the session ends.
