Hailed as the star of stage and screen, comedian Eddie Izzard is without doubt one of the foremost stand-ups of his generation. Often referred to as ‘The Lost Python’ (a title bestowed by the legendary Monty Python group themselves), he began his career as a street performer in London, before having a succession of sell-out and critically-acclaimed International tours including Definite Article, Dress To Kill, Glorious and Stripped, and has won numerous awards, including two Emmys. He has sold out Madison Square Garden Arena in New York and the Hollywood Bowl, and was seen in the films Valkyrie, Ocean's Twelve, Ocean's Thirteen, Cars 2, The Chronicles of Narnia and Treasure Island. He recently toured India fir the first time, with his show The Force Majeure.
