Ephemeral Tomorrow

SIGNALS draws inspiration from bat echolocation as an alternative way of perceiving space through sound. Within the festival grounds, ultrasonic bat calls are captured in real time, translated into the human auditory range, and transformed into an evolving audiovisual composition, where each call becomes a pulse of laser light moving through space via dynamic reflections.
