EPR Iyer
Santhanan Srinivasan Iyer, known as EPR Iyer, is a Calcutta-based rapper, poet, and lyricist who’s redefining Indian hip-hop through his socially charged storytelling. A pioneer of conscious rap, EPR uses his words as instruments of change giving voice to the unheard and questioning the status quo.
Drawing inspiration from legends like Tupac, Bob Marley, Eminem, and Chester Bennington, EPR blends rap, rock, and poetry into a genre of his own. Self-taught and fearless, his music like Mein Raava and Ekla Cholo Re reflects conviction, depth, and defiance. For over a decade, he’s been shaping India’s hip-hop movement, proving that art can be both powerful and purposeful.
