Tripbae presents Kerala's most adventurous, "Kollukkumalai Sunrise Trek and Munnar Adventure"

Highlights:

Mirchi Waterfalls: A beautiful waterfall with scenic surroundings and a perfect spot for a refreshing dip.

Kurishumala Sunset Point: A hilltop offering stunning views of the sunset and the beautiful valley below.

Kolukkumalai: The highest tea estate in the world, offering panoramic views of the sunrise and beautiful tea plantations.

Jaguar Rock Viewpoint: A popular spot for photography with picturesque views of the mountains and valleys.

Tea Plantation: A great opportunity to witness the process of tea-making and indulge in tea-tasting.

Kayaking and Zipline: Adventure activities in the nearby river, are a great way to experience the thrill and excitement of water sports.

Eravikulam National Park: A wildlife sanctuary with a variety of flora and fauna, including the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.

The trip is designed to provide an excellent combination of adventure, nature, and wildlife, making it a memorable trip.

Itinerary:

Day 0 - Friday

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations.

▪️ 8:00 p.m.: Start from Goraguntepalya

▪️ 8:10 p.m.: Next stop, Yeshwanthpur

▪️ 8:20 p.m.: Assemble at KTM Mekhri Circle

▪️ 8:40 p.m.: Picking up at MG Road

▪️ 9:00 p.m.: Meet us at Domlur

▪️ 9:20 p.m.: Join at Koramangala

▪️ 9:40 p.m.: Board at Silk Board

▪️ 10:00 p.m.: Last pickup at Electronic City

Start your journey from Bangalore to Munnar at 9 p.m.. The distance is around 470 km, and it takes approximately 9 hours by road. You will reach Munnar early in the morning.

Day 1: Munnar’s Natural Wonders

▪️ 8:00 a.m.: Reach Munnar

▪️ 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.: Check into your campsite and take some time to rest

▪️ 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: Enjoy breakfast

▪️ 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Engage in exciting activities like kayaking and zip-lining in the nearby river (self-sponsored) and return to the camp

▪️ 12:30 p.m – 1:30 p.m: Visit the nearby Mirchi waterfalls

▪️ 1:30 p.m – 2:30 p.m: Have lunch (self-sponsored)

▪️ 3:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m: Embark on a trek to Phantom Hills Sunset Point and enjoy the stunning sunset from atop the hill and come to the base camp

▪️ 7:00 p.m: Enjoy the warmth of the campfire, sharing stories and experiences with fellow travelers. Dinner will be served and retire for the night

Day 2: High-Altitude Adventures and Wildlife Exploration

▪️ 3:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: Rise early and head to Kolukkumalai, the world’s highest tea estate, to catch the sunrise (2 hours and 45 minutes) (self-sponsored)

Note: Kolukkumalai sunrise timings depend on jeep availability.

▪️ 6:15 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.: Take in the picturesque landscape.

▪️ 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: Visit Jaguar Rock viewpoint, head back to the campsite to freshen up and enjoy a hearty breakfast.

▪️ 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Check out from the campsite and commence your journey towards Munnar.

▪️ 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Stop at Signal Point. Signal Point is a viewpoint from where the Munnar Valley can be seen.

▪️ 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Visit the Chocolate Factory.

▪️ 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Stop for lunch (self-sponsored).

▪️ 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Time explore Munnar city and to do shopping.

▪️ 5:30 p.m.: Board the vehicle to return to homestay. Have dinner in the homestay.

Day 3 - Elephants, Waterfalls and the Dam!

▪️ 9:00 a.m.: Have breakfast and check out by 9 a.m.

▪️ 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: Head to Carmelagiri Elephant Park and reach there.

▪️ 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Embrace the animals and go on the elephant ride (self-sponsored)

▪️ 11:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.: Head to Mattupetty Dam and reach there.

▪️ 11:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Take in the views of the dam and take a lot of pictures.

▪️ 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Have lunch (self-sponsored).

▪️ 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Head to Lakkom Waterfalls and reach there.

▪️ 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: You can soak your feet in the waterfalls. Add the pictures of the Lakkom Waterfalls to your Instagram stories!

▪️ 5:00 p.m.: Head to Bengaluru.

▪️ 9:30 p.m.: (Self-sponsored) dinner time on the way to Bengaluru.

Day 4: Back to Bengaluru!

5:00 a.m.: Reach Bengaluru

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.
