Tripbae presents Kerala's most adventurous, "Kollukkumalai Sunrise Trek and Munnar Adventure"

Highlights:

Mirchi Waterfalls: A beautiful waterfall with scenic surroundings and a perfect spot for a refreshing dip.

Phantom hills Sunset Point: A hilltop offering stunning views of the sunset and the beautiful valley below.

Kolukkumalai: The highest tea estate in the world, offering panoramic views of the sunrise and beautiful tea plantations.

Jaguar Rock Viewpoint: A popular spot for photography with picturesque views of the mountains and valleys.

Tea Plantation: A great opportunity to witness the process of tea-making and indulge in tea-tasting.

Kayaking and Zipline: Adventure activities in the nearby river, are a great way to experience the thrill and excitement of water sports.

Eravikulam National Park: A wildlife sanctuary with a variety of flora and fauna, including the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.

The trip is designed to provide an excellent combination of adventure, nature, and wildlife, making it a memorable trip.

Itinerary:

Day 0 - Friday

We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations.

▪️08:00 PM: Start from MG Road

▪️08:10 PM: Next stop, Halasuru

▪️08:20 PM: Assemble at Indira Nagar

▪️08:40 PM: Picking up at Tin Factory

▪️09:00 PM: Meet us at Marathahalli

▪️09:20 PM: Join at Bellandur

▪️09:40 PM: Board at Silk Board

▪️10:00 PM: Last pickup at Electronic City

Start your journey from Bangalore to Munnar at 10 p.m.. The distance is around 470 km, and it takes approximately 9 hours by road. You will reach Munnar early in the morning.

Day 1: Munnar’s Natural Wonders

08:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Check into your campsite, take some time to rest and have breakfast

11:00 AM – 01:00 PM: Engage in Adventure activities *Self-Sponsored on the outskirts of Munnar

01:00 PM – 02:00 PM: Visit the Mirchi Waterfalls

02:30 PM – 03:30 PM: Have Lunch *Self-Sponsored. 

04:00 PM – 06:30 PM: Embark on a trek to Phantom hills Sunset Point and enjoy the stunning sunset from atop the hill (1 KM trek)

06:30 PM: Return to camp site and enjoy the warmth of the campfire, sharing stories and experiences with fellow travellers,

08:00 PM – 09:00 PM: Dinner will be served and retire for the night.

Day 2: High-Altitude Adventures and Wildlife Exploration

▪️ 3:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: Rise early and head to Kolukkumalai, the world’s highest tea estate, to catch the sunrise (2 hours and 45 minutes) (self-sponsored)

Note: Kolukkumalai sunrise timings depend on jeep availability.

▪️ 6:15 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.: Take in the picturesque landscape.

▪️ 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: Visit Jaguar Rock viewpoint, head back to the campsite to freshen up and enjoy a hearty breakfast.

▪️ 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Check out from the campsite and commence your journey towards Munnar.

▪️ 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Stop at Signal Point. Signal Point is a viewpoint from where the Munnar Valley can be seen.

▪️ 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Visit the Chocolate Factory.

▪️ 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Stop for lunch (self-sponsored).

▪️ 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Time explore Munnar city and to do shopping.

▪️ 5:30 p.m.: Board the vehicle to return to homestay. Have dinner in the homestay.

Day 3 - Elephants, Waterfalls and the Dam!

07:00 AM – 09:00 AM: Freshen up, have breakfast and check out from homestay

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Visit the Chocolate Factory and shop some fine home-made chocolates

12:00 PM – 02:30 PM: Enjoy a *Self Sponsored jeep safari in Eravikulam National Park

02:30 PM – 04:00 PM: Have Lunch (*Self Sponsored)

04:00 PM – 06:00 PM: Head to Lakkom Waterfalls and take a dip

06:30 PM: Head to Bengaluru

09:00 PM: Have a *Self Sponsored Dinner

Day 4: Back to Bengaluru!

5:00 a.m.: Reach Bengaluru

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.
