By the end of this 3-day intensive, participants will be equipped with essential on-camera performance skills and walk away with two powerful tools: a Casting Introduction Video and a Self-Tape Scene, both professionally shot and ready for auditions.

This focused program trains actors to:

Sustain performance across retakes while preserving continuity and emotional truth

Master eyeline discipline, framing awareness, and lens connection

Deliver naturalistic, screen-appropriate performances

Strengthen the actor’s instrument:

• Body- movement, physicality, facial expression, the language of the eyes

• Voice- breath control, modulation, articulation, dialogue delivery

• Mind- concentration, presence, and emotional access

Apply character work, script interpretation, and subtext for layered performances

Build confidence through spontaneity training and removing camera inhibitions

Practice professional audition etiquette: confident slating, cold reads, active listening, and camera-room conduct

Unlike generic acting courses, this workshop combines actor training with hands-on camera practice, ensuring participants not only refine their craft but also leave with audition-ready material.

Guided by Rajan Chawla, actor, director, and founder of Phoenix Theatre-in-Education Company, who brings over 25 years of experience mentoring actors. Rajan has trained countless performers to access emotional honesty, develop screen presence, and deliver authentic, naturalistic performances. Known for his keen eye and rigorous yet supportive approach, he continues to shape actors into confident, truthful storytellers before the camera.
