In 2023, Urooj achieved international acclaim by winning the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for her debut solo show Oh No!, marking the first time an India-based comedian received this honor. Following this, she embarked on a successful UK tour and returned to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024 with her new show, It's Funny To Me. Her latest tour, It's Funny To Me, has been performed across India and internationally, including shows in Bengaluru and planned performances in the United States.
