Abi Sampa

Abi Sampa is a multi-instrumentalist, Qawwal, and veena virtuoso whose jaw-dropping vocal prowess serves as the physical and emotional focal point of the ensemble. Born in Northwest London to Sri Lankan Tamil refugee parents, her identity was forged in a highly multicultural environment, allowing her to seamlessly absorb both Eastern and Western musical structures.
