The Journey of Ramayana: A New Perspective

The original stories from history and the Puranas are gradually fading away today. In this era of AI and social media, accessing authentic information has become a challenge.

Against this backdrop, Team Itihaasa presents an authentic rendition of the Ramayana. In this program, we will not look at the Ramayana merely as a story, but explore it through the lenses of geography, astronomy, philosophy, and science.

By comparing the events of the Ramayana with modern-day situations, we aim to find simple solutions and insights for our daily life struggles. To bring this narrative journey to life, our talented artists will accompany the storytelling with the beautiful melodies of Geet Ramayana.

- Balkand: In this first chapter of our Aitihasik Ramayan series, we look at Lord Rama's childhood, understand the logic and philosophy behind Yagyas, and hold a special discussion on the origin story of India’s first river, the Ganga (viewed as a massive engineering project).

- Ayodhyakand: In this second part of the Aitihasik Ramayan series, we go beyond the plot to understand the psychological states of various characters and explore lessons that are applicable to our lives today.
