All the World’s a Stage is an introductory acting workshop for non-actors and curious beginners. If you’ve ever hidden boredom, faked confidence, or adjusted yourself to fit a room, you were already acting. This workshop explores acting not as pretending, but as awareness—of body, breath, emotion, and impulse. Through simple movement exercises, text exploration, and guided situations, participants learn how everyday behaviour becomes performance, and how presence transforms it into truthful acting. Using short texts and lived scenarios, we’ll explore how emotions shift, how intention shapes expression, and how the self becomes an instrument for storytelling.
This workshop provides a grounding, judgment-free environment where the emphasis is on awareness and authentic expression rather than performance or perfection.
About:
Self Centre is a space dedicated to exploring the self and the dilemmas of our times through theatre. We create and curate work that responds to the pulse of the community, offering space for reflection, dialogue, and transformation. Our approach—what we call transformational theatre—is rooted in the belief that performance can shift not only perspectives, but also possibilities for how we live and relate to one another.
