In celebration of India's 72 years of independence, ALT EFF presents Vani Murthi, Composting “Queen” and Urban Farmer, to lead a session on how you can become more (self)sustainable by reducing and recycling your home waste.

How can you take responsibility for the organic waste you create and get safe, satisfyingly tasty homegrown food in return? Register for this session to find out how you can make a real difference by managing the art of composting.

Time: 4:00PM - 5:00 PM on Saturday, 15th of August. 

The session will include a Q&A, open to the audience.

Vani is a composting enthusiast, urban farmer and waste-management practitioner from Malleswaram, Bangalore. She shares her knowledge on all things waste via her widely popular YouTube and Instagram videos and is the co-founder of the Solid Waste Management (SWM) Round Table, a public interest collective working for the adoption of sustainable waste management practices by citizens and municipalities for improving public health, safe food, clean air and water and inclusive livelihoods.
