The second edition of The Thali Tradition will take place at DSSC Bhavan ⁠— a home where #OurCity can celebrate the authentic, explore the local, and revel in the vibrancy of India. The DSSC Bhavan will be popping-up only for this 3-day festival and will bring to you 6 regional cuisines as part of The Thali Tradition.

On Sunday, November 3 at 8:00 PM, Chef Rahul Gomes Pereira will present the Andhra Thali with support from our Cuisine Specialist, Ms. Sharmishtha Cheema.

About the Chef

Rahul Gomes Pereira is the Executive Chef of Jamun, an award-winning regional Indian restaurant. Lovingly called Chef Picu, he is known for his well-researched recipes, skilled technique and intelligent applications of local ingredients.

From the esteemed position at the helm of Jamun, he's translated Andhra Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage onto many a plate. His Andhra Thali at the 2018 edition saw diners oscillating between food coma and the greedy joy of one-last-bite. He's back on the coveted roster of chefs at The Thali Tradition 2019 for a feast that brings forth flavours that are authentic, nuanced, balanced and delectable.
