Anime Night Agartala is a one-day celebration of anime, cosplay, and fan culture, brought to Agartala by the Tripura Cosplay Guild — built entirely around a community that's never had a space like this of its own.
The day unfolds in two parts. Early sessions offer an exclusive, limited-capacity Maid Café experience: TCG's own costumed cast host small groups through a full immersive ritual — a warm welcome, a spell cast over your order, a hand-drawn decoration, a game, and a proper send-off — with instant printed photo keepsakes to take home.
As the main event opens wider, the energy shifts outdoors into the evening. Guest cosplayers travelling in from across the Northeast and East — including Nagaland's The Cosplay Monster, alongside guests from Guwahati and Kolkata — join an open-floor cosplay showcase built on craft, not competition. Local Agartala musicians perform live in costume, before a DJ-led set turns the floor over to the crowd, with the Maid Café cast now out among everyone serving drinks.
