Art for Mindfulness is a guided expressive arts experience that invites you to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself through creativity. In a world filled with constant distractions, this workshop creates space to pause, be present, and explore your inner world using art as a tool for mindfulness and self-expression.
The session centres around the theme Painting Hope in a Grimming World. Through guided reflection, mindful movement, storytelling, intuitive art-making, and creative exercises, participants will create a personal artwork representing what hope means to them. No artistic background is required, and the emphasis is always on the process rather than the final result.
Led by experienced expressive arts facilitators from Open Doors, the workshop provides a warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment where every participant is encouraged to express themselves freely. Alongside creating a meaningful keepsake, participants will leave feeling calmer, more connected, emotionally refreshed, and inspired with a renewed sense of hope.
Suitable for beginners and anyone seeking a creative, mindful, and meaningful experience.
