Saturday Family Workshop
Inspired by the powerful visual language of Tyeb Mehta, this workshop explores how a limited colour palette can create a strong emotional and visual impact. Mehta’s works demonstrate how a few bold colours and sharply defined forms can generate intensity, rhythm, and tension within a composition.
In this session, participants will create abstract compositions using only two to three colours. Through cutting or painting geometric shapes and arranging them in dynamic ways, they will experiment with tonal variation, spatial balance, and the interaction between form and colour. The process encourages close attention to how minimal elements can shape visual meaning.
Designed for children and adults to create together, this workshop is ideal for anyone interested in exploring abstraction in an accessible yet thoughtful way. It invites participants to engage with colour, composition, and visual thinking through a focused and experimental approach.
