Day 0 - Journey to Chikmagalur

As the sun sets over Bangalore, our adventure begins as we head towards Chikmagalur. We`ll embark on a comfortable journey of 300 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Minibus with push-back seats, ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers.

We`ll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations

▪️ 08:00 PM: Start from Banashankari

▪️ 08:15 PM: Board at BTM Layout

▪️ 08:30 PM: Next stop, Silk Board

▪️ 08:45 PM: Assemble at Koramangala

▪️ 09:00 PM: Picking up at Domlur

▪️ 09:15 PM: Meet us at MG Road

▪️ 09:30 PM: Join at KTM Mekhri Circle

▪️ 09:45 PM: Board at Yeshwanthpura

▪️ 10:00 PM: Last pickup at Goraguntepalya

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. We will make sure to cover all the places on the itinerary.

Day 1 – Mission: Ascend to the top

▪️ 06:00 AM - 07:00 AM: Reach homestay and freshen up

▪️ 07:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Have breakfast and carry packed lunch

▪️ 07:30 AM – 09:00 AM: Travel to the starting point of the Bandaje Falls Trek

▪️ 09:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Start and reach the falls (3.5 hours)

▪️ 12:30 PM – 01:00 PM: Have packed lunch

▪️ 01:30 PM – 02:00 PM: Start descent to and reach Ballarayana Durga Fort (30 mins)

▪️ 02:00 AM – 03:00 PM: Enjoy the serene beauty

▪️ 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM: Trek downhill to reach Basecamp (3 hours)

▪️ 06:00 PM – 06:30 PM: Reach home and sip tea with snacks

▪️ 06:30 PM – 09:30 PM: Enjoy the warmth of the campfire, sharing stories and experiences with fellow travelers. Dinner will be served and retire for the night.

Day 2 – Waterfalls for the Eyes, Temple for the Soul, and Back to Bengaluru

▪️ 07:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Get ready, have your breakfast, visit the nearby waterfalls(optional), and come back (4 hours)

▪️ 11:00 AM – 01:00 PM: Board the vehicle to reach Chennakeshava Temple, Belur

▪️ 01:00 PM – 01:30: Visit Chennakeshava Temple, Belur

▪️ 01:30 PM – 02:30: Have lunch on the way to Halebeedu*Self-sponsored

▪️ 02:30 PM – 03:30: Visit Hoysaleshwara Temple, Halebeedu

▪️ 03:30 PM: Leave for Bangalore.

▪️ 08:00 PM: Dinner on the way to Bangalore*Self-sponsored

▪️ 10:00 PM: Reach Bangalore

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

▪️ 10:10 PM: Yeshwanthpura

▪️ 10:25 PM: KTM Mekhri Circle

▪️ 10:45 PM: MG Road

▪️ 10:55 PM: Domlur

▪️ 11:05 PM: Koramangala

▪️ 11:15 PM: Silk Board

▪️ 11:30 PM: BTM Layout

Once you’ve reached your drop-off point, it’s time to head home, take a well-deserved rest, and start planning your next adventure!

Note: Forest permits are not included. They are subject to availability and will incur an additional cost of INR 305.

Details/Inclusion of the Trip:

Nights/Days: 2 Nights/ 2 Days.

Travel: Tempo traveler/ Mini Bus with push-back seats.

Accommodation: Camping in a Tent or Staying in a Shared Dormitory.

Food: 2 Breakfasts, 1 Lunch, and 1 Dinner on Day 1 & Day 2.

Photography: Landscape photography and Nature photography.

Sightseeing: Trek to the Bandaje Falls, Ballarayana Durga fort, Chennakeshava Temple, Belur, Hoysaleshwara Temple, Halebeedu.
