Day 0 - Journey to Chikmagalur

As the sun sets over Bangalore, our adventure begins as we head towards Chikmagalur. We`ll embark on a comfortable journey of 300 km in a Tempo Traveler or a Minibus with push-back seats, ensuring a smooth ride for our hikers.

We`ll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations

▪️10:00 PM: Start from Banashankari

▪️10:15 PM: Quick pickup BTM Layout

▪️10:30 PM: Next stop, Silk Board

▪️10:45 PM: Board at Bellandur

▪️11:00 PM: Assemble at Marathalli

▪️11:30 PM: Pickup at Tin Factory

▪️11:50 PM: Picking up at Indira Nagar

▪️12:00 AM: Meet us at Halasuru

▪️12:10 AM: Join at Mg Road

▪️12:30 AM: Board at Mekhri Circle

▪️12:40 AM: Quick pickup at Yeshwanthpur

▪️12:50 AM: Last pickup at Gorguntepalya

Note for the entire trip: The travel time may vary depending on the traffic and road conditions. We will make sure to cover all the places on the itinerary.

DAY 1

06:00 AM - 07:00 AM: Check-in the homestay

07:00 AM – 08:00 AM: Freshen-up and have breakfast

09:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Visit Samse Tea Estate

10:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Reach Horanadu Temple, have Darshan and Lunch (Either temple prasadam or lunch in near-by hotel (self-sponsored) 

Note: Temple dress code applies.

02:30 PM – 04:30 PM: Visit Soormane Falls (Jeep ride is self-sponsored)

05:30 PM: Visit Hanging Bridge Kalasa

07:00 PM: Reach Homestay, have dinner and rest

DAY 2

05:30 AM - Wake-up call

06:00 AM – 07:30 AM: Freshen up, have breakfast and carry packed lunch

Note: Forest permits are not included. They are subject to availability and will incur an additional cost of INR 505.

Note 2: Kindly book at least 2 weeks in advance to secure forest permits. Limited slots will be available - early confirmation is highly recommended!

07:30 AM – 09:00 AM: Travel to the starting point of the Bandaje Falls Trek(Jeep ride/bus)

09:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Start and reach the falls (3.5 hours)

12:30 PM – 01:00 PM: Have packed lunch

01:30 PM – 05:00 PM: Trek downhill to reach Basecamp

06:00 PM – 06:30 PM: Reach homestay and sip tea with snacks

08:00 PM – Depart to Bangalore

Day 3 - Homeward Bound

▪️ 05:30 AM: Reach Bangalore

Drop-off Points: The drop-off points will be the same as the pick-up points to ensure convenience for all travelers. Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving the vehicle.

▪️ 04:30 AM: MG Road

▪️ 05:15 AM: Tinfactory

▪️ 05:20 AM: Marathalli

▪️ 05:30 AM: Bellandur

▪️05:45 AM: Silk Board

▪️06:00 AM: BTM Layout

▪️06:15 AM: Banashankari

Once you’ve reached your drop-off point, it’s time to head home, take a well-deserved rest, and start planning your next adventure!

Travel: Tempo traveler/ Mini Bus with push-back seats.

Accommodation: Staying in a Shared Dormitory.

Food: 2 Breakfasts, 1 Lunch, and 1 Dinner on Day 1 & Day 2.

Sightseeing: Trek to the Bandaje Falls, Ballarayana Durga fort, Samse Tea Estate, Horanadu Temple, Soormane Falls and Kalasa Hanging Bridge
