Bannerghatta National Park is a sanctuary for a large variety of flora and fauna. Spread over a massive area of around 104.27 sq. km, this national park was established in the year 1971. The park itself has a number of establishments within its confines, which includes the country's first butterfly park as well. Other attractions here are ten Reserve Forests of Anekal Range of the Bangalore Forest Division, an aquarium, a zoo, Children's park, Crocodile Farm, Snake Park and Prehistoric Animals' Park. What's more, you can get up close and personal with the wondrous wildlife here by the means of a jungle safari, which is a popular activity to pursue here. The best part about Bannerghatta National Park is the small well-defined zones for animals that almost guarantees that you will spot the animals. People go in caged vehicles (buses/safari).

Waiting time for Safari is about 30 minutes. However due to heavy crowd during holidays, it is likely to get extended. Visitors are required to cooperate with the management.

We Encourage Visitors to carry face masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, water bottle, snacks & lunch, umbrella and wear cap, comfortable shoes as you are required to walk about 2.7 Km.

Restaurant are operational as per government guidelines.

Disinfection Protocol

Hand Sanitizers are placed at entry gate and various places around the park.

All safari vehicles and battery operated vehicles will be sanitized after every trip.

Parking premises, standoff barriers and other common facilities will be disinfected regularly.

Penal Provision:

Heavy Fine will be imposed for spitting or teasing / feeding animals and any other violation.

Ministry of Home Affairs, GoI and Government of Karnataka COVID 19 guidelines to be strictly followed

All visitors shall strictly follow the directions issued by the BBP. Do’s and Don’ts displayed at the park to be strictly followed.
