Guitar Workshop

This workshop is for beginners as well as students with some experience in playing guitar. School and College-going students, homemakers and working professionals can join to benefit. Spread over 12 weeks, the sessions are conducted twice a week i.e. on Tuesdays and Fridays, between 5 pm to 8 pm and are one hour each per student on a preferred time.

In this basic course, students will learn the Western notation system and learn the basics of playing skills by reading and playing through sheet music provided by the tutor. 

Students will learn to play solos, strum basic chords, understand scales, etc. and also get an overview of various genres. The workshop is conducted by Pramod Stephen, an Artist, a Musician/Music Director and an experienced educator.

Students will be able to further their music education through the tutor by pursuing the Trinity College of Music, London or Rockschool London's syllabus and methodology and can appear for graded exams at either Institution.

An Acoustic Guitar (good brand), a book stand, an unruled long notebook, a pencil and an eraser are required for a student to attend. Participating students who do not own one should procure the same to attend the conducted sessions.
