Workshop Content:

• Introduction to Kathak and its main components
• basic foot work - basic hand work - basic turns
• Introduction to Abhinaya (expressions)
• continue with foot work, hand work and turns
• basic choreography on a semi-classical bollywood song
• Introduction to long term 7 levels of Kathak, examination system of Gandharva and information on Gharanas
• polishing and refine the final choreography and presentation

• Certification from Ajivasan
• Direct entry into long-term course after the workshop (Subject to teacher's approval)*
