About

Saturday Family Workshop

Where geometry meets craft—join us for a hands-on bead weaving workshop that blends creativity with structure. Participants will work with colourful wooden beads, vibrant threads, and burlap fabric to create symmetrical, pixel-like motifs inspired by nature, animals, and indigenous patterns.

Using simple stitches and guided templates, this session introduces the art of crafting precise, geometric designs through repetition and rhythm.

 What You’ll Take Away:

●      An understanding of basic bead weaving techniques (like running and square stitch)

●      The ability to use grids and symmetry to create visually striking motifs

●      A colourful, handcrafted beadwork panel to take home

●      A deeper appreciation for indigenous art forms and abstract geometry

●       A mindful, engaging experience that combines math, design, and storytelling
