Benga, born Adegbenga Otomayomi Adejumo in 1986, is a British DJ and record producer from Croydon, South London. He is recognized as a pioneer of dubstep, a genre of electronic dance music. Benga began his music career in 2002 and gained prominence with his second album, Diary of an Afro Warrior (2008), which helped bring dubstep to a broader audience. He is also a part of the electronic music trio Magnetic Man
