We cordially invite you to the Bhoomi Yugaantar Festival, taking place on October 1-2, 2023, at the Bhoomi-Prakriya Campus in Bengaluru. Yugaantar aims to actively co-create communities deeply rooted in nature and local cultures. Inspired by the wisdom of Gandhi and other visionaries like J.C. Kumarappa, Vinobha Bhave, and Baba Amte, the festival will focus on fostering local action in sustainability and holistic transformation in education.

What to look forward to:

1. Engaging Workshops, Talks, and Conversations: Immerse yourself in a variety of meaningful workshops, talks, and discussions centered around pivotal themes such as Green Economics, Climate Action, Education for Sustainability, Nature & Biodiversity, Community Building, Food & Health, and more. Featured speakers include Aseem Shrivastava, Balachandra Hegde, Rama Subramanian, Shubha Ramachandran, Yuvan Aves, Disha Ravi, and many others.

2. Pitch Your Dream Eco-Project: Participate in Seeds of Change, a platform for young individuals aged 18 to 29 to present their eco-project ideas. You could earn a micro-grant worth 25,000 INR to help make your vision a reality.

3. Discover Sustainable Living and Promote Local Cultures: Explore sustainable practices through various stalls selling natural clothing, handicrafts, and other products that promote sustainable living. Relish local, traditional foods and enjoy performances from community musicians and storytellers includingVinay Varanasi, Raghunandan Bhat, Shouri Shanbhog and the Soligas.

4. Bhoomi Senior Fellowship: We are delighted to announce that this year's Bhoomi Senior Fellowship will be awarded to Aseem Shrivastava andBalachandra Hegde for their contribution in Ecological Education. The fellowship aims to celebrate and propagate remarkable contributions in the fields of sustainability and holistic education.

5. Book Release: Don't miss the unveiling of "Education in Tune with Nature," a book steeped in over 23 years of holistic pedagogy at Prakriya Green Wisdom School. It offers valuable insights for educators, parents, and students alike.
