Inspired by Tyeb Mehta’s engagement with modernist experimentation and image-making, this workshop introduces participants to cyanotype, an alternative camera-less printing process that explores the relationship between image, material, and abstraction.
Through cyanotype, participants will engage with image-making inspired by Tyeb Mehta’s use of the diagonal and fragmented forms. The workshop examines how simple visual interventions can transform perception and create powerful compositions.
In this workshop, participants will gain an understanding of modernist approaches to reproduction and materiality while developing their own interpretations through experimentation with form, composition, and image-making.
