Inspire the artist hidden in you: International women`s day special

Brush Lettering or Modern Calligraphy is the art of drawing letters. It not only nurtures creative thinking, but it is also amongst the simplest ways to let out steam. So, draw an inspiring quote to adorn a bookmark, your desk or wall or personalize your gift tags!

For this workshop, we will be writing an Inspiring quote using brush pen calligraphy techniques.

What you will do:

– Learn about the basic strokes and how to effectively build your muscle memory.

– Step by step guide on how to form a word using brush lettering techniques.

Brush pens are recommended for beginners.

– Learn different types of brush lettering- basic, bouncy, flourish

– Try hands on by writing quotations using calligraphy

Materials required:

– Doms or Camel brush pen

– Any 2 line notebook and plain white a4 sheets for freestyle brush lettering

About the artist:

Raashi is a calligraphy and watercolor artist based in Delhi. When she found her old paint brush at the back of her closet, that’s when she realised what she has missed . So she started cultivating my artwork through the creative content on Instagram. Since then it has been an inseparable part of her life.
