Founded by Chef Emerson Manibo, Barō began as a small artisanal bakery in Pererenan, Bali, and has grown into one of Indonesia's most exciting culinary destinations. Drawing on decades of experience across acclaimed bakeries and kitchens in New York, San Francisco, and Bali, Chef Emerson has built Barō around the principles of slow fermentation, heritage grains, thoughtful sourcing, and ingredient-led baking. Rooted in craftsmanship and hospitality, Barō celebrates the simple pleasure of gathering around exceptional food.
